Pet friendly Hotels Chun＇an

I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors. The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek. However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor. It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids. Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time. Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely. Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered. I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him. The gym in building 5 was a disappointment; One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool. Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

We arrived in the afternoon and were quickly checked in. We were delighted to receive a free upgrade and some gifts for the children. The rooms were spacious, well kept and bright. We had a great view of the lake despite the rainy weather. The children's play room was very impressive. There was hours of fun for the younger one, who visited every day of our stay. The staff were particularly kind and helpful. Kate and Huan were very helpful. They were super friendly and looked after our child well. Breakfast and dinner was extensive. There was Chinese and Western options so everyone was pleased. We would definitely stay again. Thank you to all staff for such a lovely stay.

The location was good, with a shuttle bus available from the THSR station and close to the tourist boat pier. The room was clean and had a lovely interior. It was a bit inconvenient that there were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. I had to catch the THSR early the next morning, so when I asked how to get there, the hotel's pick-up service listed on Tripcom didn't exist, and they ended up calling a taxi from my mobile phone. That was because the woman at the front desk who I happened to ask was kind, and other staff were more like, ”Why don't you just order it yourself on the Didi app?”

Recommended! This is a really great hotel that is beyond expectation (not the bad reviews on Xiaohongshu). The price-performance ratio is really high for off-season travel! We came by car, and it was very convenient to go to town for dinner or to visit scenic spots. We booked a one-bedroom villa room. Maybe it was off-season, the lady helped to upgrade to a lake view room, and the view was great! I put a few photos of the lake view on the way to the room, and it was beautiful even on cloudy days. The room is on the first floor, and you can also see a pleasant lake view from the living room. It is really suitable for a relaxing vacation~ Wait until next time, and book a villa suite to experience the scenery on the third floor! We went to the outdoor hot spring in the evening, and the environment was great! Each guest room has its own characteristic vegetation in the courtyard. The housekeeper took it to the door of the mansion, and the lantern with the owner's surname 🏮 restored the culture of the wealthy folk houses in Wenyuan Lion City to the extreme, and the stay experience was instantly enhanced. The Hui-style courtyard of Xin'an Garden, where I stayed this time, adopts a three-entry design. The first entrance uses a traditional key to open the door to see the outdoor courtyard. The second entrance is the indoor living hall, and the third entrance is the second-floor bedroom. The traditional wooden house style design instantly brings an immersive Jiangnan vacation experience. The bathroom is large and equipped with a double basin design and a deep soaking bathtub. At a time when cost control of toiletries is popular, it is still adhering to the original intention of using more hygienic small bottles. You can enjoy the hotel's fitness facilities, tour the replica of the ancient city and perform all day. If it weren't for the lack of privacy in the ancient city, it would be a substitute for Amman or Ritz-Carlton Hidden Resort, but the room rate may be only 10% of theirs, how cost-effective it is. In terms of service, three of us checked in, and the front desk took the initiative to arrange for additional quilts and toiletries, greeted us with a smile throughout the whole process, and guided us to introduce the hotel facilities and how to use them, which was very professional. The only two weaknesses are that the quality of the hotel's catering has a lot of room for improvement. During the New Year, the Chinese restaurant only has set meals available and the price of the dishes has increased a lot. The quality of the breakfast ingredients in the buffet restaurant is too low, which is not in line with the hotel's positioning. The swimming pool opens too late, and I hope it will be improved.

Facilities: The bedding really must be improved. I slept for two nights and my back hurts and neck. There is also a shower that can be replaced with a new one.
