GGuest UserI give the hotel 4.5 stars. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Check in was easy. We were given an option for which room we wanted. The rooms were quiet. Big comfortable beds. A really big television. A microwave and refridgerator in the room. A small coffee pot with tea and coffee in the room. A shower ( but no bath) in the room. Good shower pressure. Soft water ( I think it's a San Diego thing). The hotel is located in a safe area. Not too walkable area. Easy parking. A really good free breakfast. You are served from a hotel worker. You get a choice of scrambled eggs, oatmeal, tater tots, muffins, sausage, bacon, yogurt, juice, and more. There is always hot coffee, hot chocolate, and tea in the lobby. There was oranges and granola bars in the lobby when we checked in. A nice pool and Jacuzzi. There are outdoor grills. There is a fire pit outside. Tbe hotel is modern and contemporary decorated. No housekeeping ( I think that is a covid thing). When we called for more towels they were delivered quickly. A really nice place to stay.

LlwpkubvucbkcfuphI was a bit hesitant at first, but I grew to appreciate the hotel over the four night stay recently. The front desk staff are eager to accommodate and friendly, as are all the staff. So onto the specifics: Area: Loved Chula Vista! Felt safe walking around day or night, lots of amenities nearby (7-Eleven next door, mall, restaurants, AMC theatre within walking distance) and easy to get to off of the I-5. It's a hotel in a neighbourhood, so it felt more personable than perhaps a larger chain hotel in downtown San Diego. Room: 2106, facing away from the main road on the second floor, which made it nice and quiet (noisy neighbours in 2107 and above in 3106 aside!). Good storage space, clean, quiet and efficient A/C unit, good water pressure and temp. Bed was comfy, but might be a bit soft for some. A few minor points to note: the toilet seat needed tightening, the cable didn't seem to work (not a big deal, I had my books), and the bathroom sink backed up a few times the first few days, but this was rectified after mentioning it to the Front Desk. Housekeeping: overall, excellent. Extremely minor things were missed each day, but nothing worth calling out, and the ladies were lovely. Room was always clean and fresh, and happy to tip each day. Parking: a bit nervous parking in the exposed front lot, but no issues during our stay with any vehicle, including those parked in the back. Breakfast: Totally worth the $10! Scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns, cereal, coffee, tea, orange juice, etc. Was more than happy to tip each day. Staff: great! Everyone was friendly and happy to help, answer questions, and address concerns (like my noisy neighbours and plumbing events). Would definitely recommend if you're not fixated on being right in San Diego.

JJohnsonEverything was ok except they don’t clean the floors of the room. My feet were black after walking around! The entire stay. It was totally gross. I had to wear socks all the time. The hallways and staircases could also use a good power washing. Also the room we had was supposed to be handicap accessible… But you had to go down sets of stairs to get to the room so I don’t know how they can call that handicap accessible. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.

My stay here at the Comfort Inn has been a very relaxing and enjoyable one for me and my family. We were given lodging at the Comfort Inn due to the severe flood damage that happened in January taking away our whole lives work and sentimental personal items. It has been a easy transition here the whole staff and management have been curtious amicable friendly and professional. We got close with all the staff and became a new part of my family and I will miss them but I will also come back and say hello. Shout out to Manager Reina, Supervisor Norlyn, Staff: Alexis, Alicia, Rocio, Erendira, Verenice, Magadelena, Steve, Art (Arturo), Maintenance guys Ramon and Manuel.

GGuest UserI am very satisfied with the accommodations for my guests, friends and family at the Best Western in Otay Valley, Chula Vista. The Staff are very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to switch rooms due to some mix up. Fortunately, I reserved 4 rooms so it's a matter of switching the names of occupants and since they are my family no big deal. The only issue that can be improved is a work space so if your roommate is already asleep you can work downstairs. The space is not private it just a space not even a small room. Also, the key in one of the rooms doesn't work well and they don't have enough people working the night shift. So while I am checking in my other guests, my other guest had to wait since only one person is working that night. Maybe, hire more people to work since this hotel is very busy. The location is right off the freeway so it is very convenient easy to find. It's next to a gas Station with a convenience store. Starbucks is walking distance so the location is great. The staff are all nice, Carmen, Cassandra and Daniel. I only talked to Albert once on the phone but they are very courteous and accommodating in person and on the phone. I would give them a ”5” for Service Excellent customer service.

SSauté AWanted a last minute inexpensive getaway. I’m happy that I was intelligent to take advantage of a latest possible moment cancellation alternatively I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be a guest of Hotel Palmeras. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about places to eat nearby. Definitely will stay in this place again. I had to leave my apartment and I had to stay for a single night, had to find something speedy, affordable and nearly my job. I was uncertain due to the reviews but I gave it a chance anyhow. The staff was excellent, friendly. The hotel is in a excellent location close to stores and dining rooms like Tacos el Gordo. I had a good nights rest and would come back if always I need a hotel, I advise you give it a chance.
