Advantages:
1 Beautiful environment, the whole homestay is interesting and quaint. It takes an hour to walk around the homestay.
2 The toiletries are quite high-end, there is a smart toilet, makeup remover cotton, plenty of mineral water, and the comb is made of wood.
3 The breakfast variety is definitely not comparable to that of star-rated hotels, but the service is warm and the materials are well used, especially the milk.
Disadvantages:
1 The drainage in the room is a bit slow, and it will flood if you take a shower for a little longer.
2 The floor is made of wood, it makes a sound when you step on it, and it is a bit soundproof.
Finally! ! ! I strongly recommend that the store install a chain lock! ! ! I don’t feel safe living here.

The homestay is fine and conveniently located right in front of the Chongqing West railway station (about a 5 mins walk). The bed is comfortable and clean, the room is not as clean but is ok overall. You can certainly stay here for one night.
The problem is on trip.com they don't mention that the bathroom is in fact shared and is a squat toilet. The bathroom is shared with the entire corridor which is about 5 rooms so it depends how many other guests are there at the same time...

GGuest UserAfter experiencing the excitement of the city and the Internet celebrity feeling in Chongqing, I happened to search for Pucun! Very close to the city and the airport, Pucun made me feel why Chongqing is called a mountain city. It is really a good place to relax after the hustle and bustle! It was such a surprise. Although it was only two days and one night, the boss's design aesthetic and the B&B experience on the terraced slopes allowed us to experience many different beautiful scenery. The room is simple and has good facilities and equipment. The Dyson hair dryer is very comfortable. I like it very much. It is warm and high-end! Experience the chirping of the robin during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of frogs at night, as well as the bamboo forest among the pines. It just happened to rain in Chongqing. The clouds and mist in the mountains in the morning and the new rain in the empty mountains were very healing. Chongqing is really charming! Chongqing has 3D and is also a mountain city! The ingredients picked in Pucun are hard to come by. The plums just came out recently, so sweet! The butler was attentive and accompanying me throughout the whole process, very considerate! I like Pucun very much and will come to Pucun next time!

GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

AAnonymous UserTraveling during off-peak hours, I finally came to Chongqing, which I have longed for. For the convenience of travel, I chose this high-altitude river view hotel. The front desk is on the 28th floor. The room I booked also has a river view. There are many delicious food nearby, and there is a subway station downstairs. It's very convenient to take a taxi. There is an observation deck upstairs in the hotel, but you need to buy a ticket to go up. The room is nice and the view is beautiful. Xiao Zhu at the front desk provides great service. It has a full floor-to-ceiling river view. Exit 5A of Line 1 is the hotel. Transportation Convenient, plus the hotel's WeChat online service, you don't need to go to the front desk to check out. This location in Chaotianmen is very cost-effective and worth recommending.

HH MatthiasCentrally located, walking distance to great food options. Service was very warm and friendly; given a free upgrade as well. Room was nicely decorated, strong AC, had a smart home system with security features, smart toilet with bidet, nice rainfall shower. It was awesome having a washer/dryer in-room as well.
The room also came with a kitchen (oven, microwave, stove) though there were no utensils and crockery. Fridge was huge.
Bed was comfortable and big. The room lacked an ironing board and an electronic safe.
Only complaint: lifts were extremely slow. VERY slow. Even as the only passenger, going from level 1 to 33 took nearly 2 minutes. It was also extremely warm and stuffy in the lifts.

Hotel provides daily meal coupons for redemption between 7am-8pm. Few varieties to choose (noodles either spicy or non spicy, wan ton, fried egg, mantou, soya beans drink, porridge). Of course water bottles, tea bags, toiletries are replenish daily.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Special appreciation to staff number 11 & number 3.

GGuest User酒店就在來福士正對面，樓層很高，視野特別好。房間十分乾淨，裏面還有小冰箱，投影儀，大浴缸，真的超級nice😄😄😄。酒店的小何利利非常熱情， 還親自帶我們去房間，必須點贊😄阿姨都是非常有禮貌喲，做衞生非常仔細。
整個入住體驗真的超級棒，一直忘記來評論了，是屬於我下一次去重慶依然會優先選擇的酒店。放兩張我們住的樓層的窗外風景，現場看房間的時候看到這一間不是完全對着江的，但我覺得對着這個建築也很好看就選了這一間。

GGuest UserTo be honest, the price of machine room 1288 is really a bit expensive, the hotel facilities are relatively old due to the long time of decoration. The hotel's meal price is not very friendly, and the first time I saw the hotel, I could not bring my own wine and takeaway. Eating is charged by the head, drinking tea is also, to be honest, in addition to the environment is good, other really... I like this hotel very much, I will choose to stay in the future.

GGuest UserThe scenery outside the window is beautiful, and the facilities are complete. There are shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. Hot water is also available every night. It is relatively clean. The location is particularly good. It is in the Everbright Building. There is a convenience store downstairs and restaurants around. In front of it is Raffles City. There is a platform in front of the mall and you can see the river view.

Location: I personally do not like staying in central commercial areas in whichever city I decide to travel to (due to the traffic and noise), however, I still prefer to be as close as possible so as to be able to and back from the city centre without having to spend too much time and energy which would ultimately turn my holiday into a task rather than a time of relaxation -and so the location of this commercial apartment was perfect for me; 12.8km to jiefangbei 解放碑步行街 (20-30 minutes in a taxi), people’s square 重庆人民广场 (20-30 minutes in a taxi), 9km to ciqikou ancient town 磁器口古镇 (15-25 minutes in a taxi), 14.2km from the graffiti street 重庆涂鸦一条街(30-40 minutes in a taxi), 6.3km from the ronghui hot springs 融汇温泉 (15-25 minutes in a taxi). The room was also perfect for any days I did not want to go out travelling as it is a quiet, green area which is nice for walks, and in addition to that there are so many supermarkets and restaurants downstairs with anything you’d want to eat from Chongqing, and with all the daily necessities you’d need.
Room and value for money: Excellent. The room isn’t exactly luxurious, but at roughly 140 yuan per night, you get more than what you pay for. Clean, tidy, washing machine, kettle, fridge, bath towels, TV, cupboard, wardrobe, table, chairs, balcony etc. everything you need. Hot water works fine albeit the water must run for a minute or so before the water gets hot.
Service: As soon as I booked the room, I contacted the owner and she then proceeded to add my WeChat - from there on she was very attentive and replied to any message I sent her within 10 minutes and even helped me out to get the Chongqing green code when I was on the train from Shanghai. She also offered to send a cleaner to my room any time I wish if I found that my room got too messy.
Summary: Extremely satisfied, and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the main attractions in Chongqing without having to deal with the noise and traffic of the very centre of the city, and who would like the added convenience of being able to wash your own clothes without having to wait for a dry cleaner.
