The lady in charge has taken care of everything nicely and efficiently. Despite the fact that I cannot speak chinese and the lady of the house whp is in charge cannot speak english, we still can communicate by using Translator. š¤£š. But I liked it.
As a Dutch giy travelling in unorganized tour abroad, I love the challenge so I can learn new thinhs and broaden my horizon into different cultures.
My room is nice and has balcony. Bed is perfect. I can crowl under the soft warm blanket.
Tpilet is a High Tech with Remote Control.
The robe provided in the room is so soft and warm your body too..
NO CONVENTIONAL TV in the room BUT there is PROJECTOR in the room to watch TV..

Friendly and helpful staff. Remote ran out of battery and they were quick to offer assistance
Toilet had a sewage smell although it looked and felt clean. However it wasn't too big of an issue because the smell does not spread to the room.
Some of the sockets beside the bed were broken & not functional, but most of it still worked.
Good location as it's right next to the bus terminal to go to the three bridges & fairy mountain. Easily accessible & a really short walk from Fairy Mountain Tourist Stop.

The room is on the second floor of the villa, with separate rooms and bathrooms. The layout is very fresh, the space is quite large, and the community environment is also very nice. The house is opposite the visitor center and it is especially convenient to go to the scenic spot. Recommended šš»

The accommodation is a Homestay. From the Tourist Center, walk out the back where there is a road, turn right and walk for about 5 minutes. The name of the apartment is a little hard to find. Notice the English name attached to it is Leya because if you look at it in Chinese it will be very difficult to see. The room is very clean. The beds in the room can sleep up to 5 people. The beds are spacious and soft. Sleep comfortably. Drinking water will be a small bottle. Must buy more from the store. Good location, can walk to the tourist center and nearby are many restaurants. It's a point where tour companies take customers to eat in this area. If there's a chance, I'll go back and stay again.

The family room is not just a room, the room is awesome!
The room is really big and it comes with a nice decoration for the kids, and the bed provided are more than enough for me travelling with 7 and 9 years old kids.
They also provide many option of breakfast menu.

The hotel is very charming, next to the beautiful mountains. The rooms are similar to 5 star hotels I have previously stayed in. We stayed in the large suite, with a walk in closet, big bathroom, living room (with TV), desk, bathtub, king size bed, and patio.
The hotel staff are the most friendly and accommodating! The hostess personally drove us to and picked us up from the tourist center for 2 days. We insisted on paying or tipping her but she refused the money and said she was happy to do it for the guests!
Also Iām not sure what time check in is but we arrived at 12:30pm and since the room was ready they escorted us to our rooms immediately upon arrival.
The hostess offered to bring our breakfast to our room, if we felt too lazy to come downstairs to eat. The staff is really just too amazing!

I have to say that this was the best night's stay in Fairy Mountain. The B&B is just 100 meters away from the entrance of the tourist resort. You can drive by yourself or go to the tourist service center of Fairy Mountain Resort and communicate with the housekeeper to ask them to pick you up. The breakfast in the morning tastes very good, with freshly made noodles. The only thing is that our car was parked at the door of the B&B. When the construction team sprayed the yard the next day, a lot of paint flew on our car. But what makes me particularly satisfied is that the solution of the B&B is also very comfortable. When I communicated with the B&B the next day, they also helped to solve it as soon as possible, and because I had just put on the car cover, they also compensated for it as soon as possible, without dragging their feet. The way it was handled shows that the owner and employees of the B&B are very good. Needless to say, the room is clean and tidy, and the decoration style is also very good. The mountain view outside the window is particularly good. I will definitely choose here next time I go to Fairy Mountain.

Firstly, if you are a foreigner entering and checking in at the hotel, then please ensure you can speak chinese or have a chinese friend to go with you. The process entering the park itself at the foot of the mountain is extremely frustrating and then upon checking, even more of a challenge as the staff spend ages looking at every single page of your passport and taking 3000 photos of it.
The resort is perfectly situated which was the highlight of our stay as well as the BBQ restaurant on premises that make the absolute best beef soup.
The animals around the area are gorgeous, however their horses had no water all day long and were tied up in the open sun. The horses were not taken care of and looked quite sad.

The resort's accommodations are a true delight ā beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.

GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes Iāve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
Whatās really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in roomās shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didnāt know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a āhole in the wallā place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

AAlicia LaiI have been stayed at Orange Crystal Hotel for three nights, and it was an exceptional experience. This is a brand-new hotel with excellent facilitiesāeverything is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make both local(me) and international (my hubby)feel welcome and comfortable.
One of the highlights was the attentive housekeeper, who was always polite and thoughtful. She even reminded us to take extra water whenever I was heading out. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of delicious restaurants just downstairs, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine.
Overall, I couldnāt be happier with my stay at Orange Crystal Hotel. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

It's a multiple hotel sharing the same building, but no issues at all. Breakfast with a wide selection.
The only setback is the cigarette smoke from exterior, common corridor.

I recently stayed at the Chongqing Ashan River View Hotel in a spacious loft room, which offered a fantastic river view, particularly stunning at night. The hotelās location is highly convenient, situated near Chaotiamen station, Exit 1, and a shopping area in the basement, ideal for those seeking kids' apparel. Check-in is on the 21st floor, and depending on your roomās location, an additional lift may be required. The building houses multiple hotels, which can initially be confusing.
The hotel provides a projector, a nice touch but somewhat unnecessary. Maneuvering the Mandarin menu can be challenging for non-speakers, though trial and error eventually helps. There is ongoing construction around the hotel, and the noise can be heard until 10 p.m. Fortunately, we returned late, so it wasnāt an issue, but guests should check if this is temporary. Washer and dryer services are available, though they appear heavily used. Basic toiletries, such as body lotion, are not provided.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 3.5 out of 5.

Location is excellent to explore all the top touristy things in Chongqing and many food options are available in the area. The only downside is that the sound insulation is not the best and if you're travelling in winter it might be chilly in the room. Otherwise the stay met our expectations and the view from the room was really nice.

Located in the Jiefangbei heart of Chongqing, this hotel has a very perfect location. The address itself is at Ba Yi road. The road in A-Z food variant. This is a pedestrian street with no vehicle pass through, except grab food motorcycles. It is a very crowded street. The night later it gets the more crowded it gets. But fortunately the hotel has a good soundproof quality, so we can still rest quietly.Ā Thanks to Christ Xiao, the Front office supervisor (I think), who made our check-in process smooth. Your English speaking ability is very assisting us. We stayed for 3 nights.Ā The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is very moderate. Not many meal options. But the Breakfast room is on the 29th floor, which becomes a bar at night with 360 degree slow moving so we can enjoy the Chongqing city view from top. Very nice service. The hotel is near the metro station, with a 5 minutes walk. There is a free laundry service that is very helpfulĀ for long tourists like us. Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel for our China trip in Chongqing.

DDerickOverall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm.
Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle.
Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better.
Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive!
Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers.
Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good!
Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train.
To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.

GGuest UserThe hotel is on the top of the mountain, very quiet, charming, clean and comfortable rooms, very stylish, fresh air, about 10 minutes to Bailian Hot Spring at the foot of the mountain, the environment is very good, there are many hot springs, very high-grade, after soaking in the hot springs, eat dinner in the restaurant, vegetable porridge and side dishes, comfortable.
