Hotels near Valea Morilor Park, Chisinau

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. Beautiful rooms with a classic style and very excellent service. Food was excellent at the restaurant and we had a group of 9 colleagues and everyone agreed a fabulous hotel. We had two men that arrived before the group and they gave them rooms with only a phone call from me when we had not yet provided any payment information. Very helpful and extremely professional. My wife, who works for our company agreed, one of the best hotels we have visited. We highly recommend.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, aber der Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals sind sehr schlecht. Zwei junge Frauen sitzen an der Repzeption und sind überwiegend mit ihren Handys beschäftigt. Selbst beim Check-In und Check-Out, wurde nebenbei etwas mit dem Handy gemacht. Zudem wurde während der Gespräche Blickkontakt vermieden und sitzen geblieben. Als Gast hat man sich eher als Störfaktor empfunden. Das Führstücksbuffet war gut. Kaffee und Tee musste man sich aber an der Bar abholen. Die Bestellungen wurde mit einem gelangweilten Stöhnen bestätigt. Hier war auch wieder keine Kundenorientierung zu erkennen. Das hausinterne Restaurant Ludo (5. Etage) kann ich leider nicht bewerten, da ich nach ca. 20 Minuten Wartezeit wieder gegangen bin, da kein Kellner zu meinem gut sichtbaren Tisch kam. Hierzu muss man erwähnen, dass nur ca. 5 Gäste im Restaurant waren und ca. 5 Kellner motovationslos an der Bar saßen.

I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and was quickly checked in by two receptionists who spoke English well. I was soon on my way to my room on the 4th floor. The room was not very large, but nevertheless adequate. Note that some rooms here are even smaller than mine. The room came with a comfortable bed with sockets by the bed, a desk and a chair as well as a safe, a 0,5 L water bottle (not replenished), a minibar and good A/C. However, there was no coffee table or armchair. Wifi was free, fast, reliable and unlimited. The bathroom was of average size and came with a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure and ample hot water both in the overhead as well as the handheld shower. Note that in addition to the usual tap, the shower has two on/off buttons controlling each shower mode. If those are both in the off position, opening the tap will result in no water coming out and then you might think there is an outage even if there is not; just press the button and water will start flowing. Amenities included hand soap, shampoo and shower gel, all single-use, which I much appreciate. A bathrobe and slippers were provided, as well as a dental kit etc. I found the room to fulfill four star criteria nicely. The hotel opened its doors in June 2023, so it is still brand new and everything was in excellent condition. The room was cleaned daily and felt fresh and clean. I very much liked the old school way of featuring the hotel name on everything from towels to dental kits to bathrobes to shoe cleaning sponges. One letdown, however, was that during my stay, it rained every day but the hotel was not at all prepared. They supposedly had umbrellas at reception, but the most I ever saw was one single umbrella, and this when the sun was shining. Great hotels provide umbrellas in rooms, good hotels hand them out at reception on request, but what kind of hotels frequently run out completely? Fortunately, during heavy rain, they were able to find me one in the back after some persistence, but acquiring more umbrellas seems like a reasonable and much needed investment in my opinion. Breakfast was served in the restaurant from 7:30 to 10:30. It was your usual affair and came with both hot and cold options. I especially liked the Caprese salad and fresh fruit. In addition to the usual international fare they had some local items as well. Breakfast gave you a good start of the day and was included in the room rate. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner at reasonable prices, but I did not try it out. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, next to Cathedral Park. There is a supermarket and a money exchange booth right next to the hotel. The airport trolleybus is a few minutes away on the main street Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt and will take you to the airport in 40 minutes. My stay at the hotel : No elevator , no toiletries , no napkins , no water . Good thing next to it , go and buy .Everything on the site says that is included in the cost , and not in the living.The only plus is pure . In the bed room , the mattress is terrible , all in springs , it is impossible to lie . On the respiratory girl Yulia , not welcoming , not even greeting and this staff member is respiratory ? ! It's as if she came home to her. The appearance is not fit for the hotel , not presentative , not even a badge of name (and I am 4 stars for a minute)It doesn't even sit in its workplace , it is always not on the respiratory.I want to pay attention to the hotel management , Whom they take to work .And so you can stay without customers .I do not recommend anyone for such money ,stay in this hotel .

It was my first time in Chisinau and I stayed in Courtyard by Marriott for 2 nights. From check in to check out, it was a memorable stay. Entire staff were amazing with good qualities of hospitality understanding. I would like to extend my appriciations to Ekta and Maxim from reception and Rynul from restaurant. Keep up the good work.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We stayed one night because our flight was the next day. It's a 10-15 minute drive to the airport. We checked into room 16, it's a junior suite, I think. The room is huge - king size bed, sofa, armchair, coffee table. There is a desk with a capsule coffee maker and two coffee capsules on it. There is also a kettle and tea set. The minibar is stocked, but it comes at an additional cost; the price list is in the room. A large wardrobe, high-quality slippers and snow-white bathrobes are also in the room. The bathroom has all the accessories - bar soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpastes. The bathroom is large and clean. Breakfast is a buffet, there is everything you could want for breakfast - eggs, cheese, sausage, spring rolls, pancakes, vegetable pie, yogurt, kefir, vegetables, fruits, nuts, dried fruits, even sandwiches with red fish, pastries , Tea coffee. I haven’t listed everything exactly, there is a large selection. Everything was prepared deliciously and beautifully presented. Wi Fi is free and worked great. Well, the location is very good. Across the road, 30 meters away, is a large shopping center with various brand stores, on the 4th floor there is a large food court - there is Macdonalds and a bunch of different restaurants and cafes. On the ground floor of the shopping center there is a huge supermarket that even sells cookery and hot pastries. There is a stop nearby from where you can go anywhere by public transport.

It was my first time in Moldova. Any member of staff I came into contact with, either on the front desk, or in the bar/restaurant spoke very good English. The staff on the reception were particularly helpful. They were happy to help with a late check out as I'd a late flight and also with ordering a taxi to the airport. The room was spacious. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed. Coffee machine and a kettle in the room. Minibar is well stocked with snacks if you don't want to walk to the shops (although there are shops within walking distance of the hotel). Handy location for the train station. It's within walking distance if you get the overnight train from Bucharest. City centre a bit of a walk, but not too far. About 20 minutes walk to the Triumphal Arch. About 30 minutes walk to the Museum of Ethnography & Natural History. Overall, one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in. The reception staff in particular are brilliant. Nothing is any trouble for them and I'd gladly stay again.
