The hotel staff were great and the hotel for a 3 star was remarkably good. The bed was uncomfortable (cheap construction) and such a shame considering everything else. I had booked two trips at the same hotel before I left due to a family emergency and the hotel told me after I had stayed for 3 days that they were cancelling my second booking and moving me to another hotel! This was due to a large single booking that wanted the whole hotel. Very disappointed especially as I informed them that my mother had just passed and the hotel was in walking distance to my fathers villa. They said that nothing could be done. I did not create a scene but left the hotel a day early (even though I had paid upfront) as I was disgusted with the way I was treated. I will never stay there again. It would have also been nice if Trip responded to my disappointment of this when I first notified them a couple of weeks ago.
