Hotels near O'Hare International Airport, Chicago

We missed a flight, were stuck in Chicago, and booked a night here and couldn’t have been happier. Jennifer at the front desk helped with getting dinner picked up and delivered and everyone treated us great. Indian restaurant delivered late.

This hotel surprised me. Expected a usual budget chain hotel. This was better. To start is the reception. Met 3 nice ladies. Arasele , Ro, and Patricia. All were friendly and efficient. Patrica was especially helpful with a few calls I made prior to arrival. The room was clean , not outdated as many are, the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had in a bit. I was told that they were fairly new. Pool clean. Only reason for 4 stars is not a fan of the breakfast. But I guess it’s your typical stuff. I will stay here again

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Evanston for my daughter’s 7th birthday, along with our younger daughter who is 5. We wanted to stay somewhere that had a pool, restaurants/shops/nightlife accessible and also close access to the beach. We found all of this when we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn! I really can’t say enough great things about this hotel. First: the location. It’s situated one block away from downtown Evanston, one of the best neighborhoods in the state of IL. There are limitless things to do and places to eat with the kids. Second: the hotel staff. They were so kind and accommodating! Cathy at the front desk knew it was my daughters birthday, wished her a happy birthday, and gave both my daughters a free treat to celebrate. There was always a staff member around to help, from someone servicing the pool to the guy that helped me get complimentary coffee in the lobby. Just a pleasure! They were so helpful and happy to help, I got the sense of being part of one big family while we were staying there. Third: the room. It was so clean with so many thoughtful component included to make our stay more comfortable. The were communications posted throughout the room notifying us of when/how the room was sanitized. All the complimentary toiletries were upscale and there was enough for my whole family. There’s just so many positive things about this hotel, a true gem, if you are looking for something in this area, it’s everything you are looking for and more.

This hotel is clean, roomy and comfortable , and the front desk was professional, especially Mr. Habram, he’s very polite and friendly. They provided free coffee every morning, although it’s free, but the quality is still good. Definitely will come back to this hotel!

We found this Super 8 to be clean, quiet, and well-run. The breakfast offerings were also OK for the price. The beds were advertised as doubles and seemed a little smaller than that, so kind of snug for two adults, but the room overall was fine. It looked like there had been some recent updating to the property, too. McDonalds, Dunkin' Donuts, and Baskin Robbins are close by.

It seems that there is no breakfast, so it is a good hotel in the surrounding area. Because I need to print a lot of documents when meeting customers, they are all printed at the hotel. It is very convenient to have a computer and a printer.

Everything was wonderful. The front desk staff were all friendly and accommodating. They had a good sized pantry next to the front desk. The room was clean and everything worked well in it. The hotel was quiet and floors were sturdy. It was also convenient being able to pick up a to go order from the Bennigan's that is attached to the hotel. I didn't have any breakfast so cannot comment on the quality of that but they had a substantially sized breakfast area. I got a 2 room suite for a good price and would definitely get one again the next time I spend the night in Elgin.

I had the pleasure of finding this hotel in a pinch. I was scheduled to stay at another Hilton Brand in Schaumburg and it was sub par at best. It seems that all brands room product in that area are run down. It was so bad that at 6pm on day of arrival, after checkin, I accepted a cancellation fee of one night and left. I then found/selected this Home2 in Bolingbrook in the app. I phoned before I booked and asked the agent if their hotel was nice. She assured me it was pristine, and assured me I would be happy. I took a chance and booked the honors rate. When I arrived, she had assigned a lovely room for me, and apologized for the experience I had at the other hotel and welcomed me. She was so kind and she knew I was exhausted and made check in a breeze. Once I entered the room, I was greeted by the smell of clean and beautiful room that was modern, well appointed and so well lit. The bed was super comfy and all the linens and towels were white and fresh. The room smelled amazingly clean and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The kitchen area has everything you would need if you wanted to microwave cook. There is a full size fridge and glassware, plates, etc. Housekeeping at this hotel are so on point, and always cleaning. Breakfast is timely and offers hot and cold options. Coffee and tea in the lobby is available 24 hours a day. The pantry/shop is well stocked with thoughtfully procured items, such as Modelo Beer, Baskin Robbin’s Pints (many flavors) and extensive snack and candy selections. They have a beautiful indoor pool and ample places to sit both inside and outside of the hotel. The grounds are well kept and there is plenty of well lit self parking. It is located near an Aldi grocery store, walking distance, a 5 minute walk, and a few other shops and dining within a mile. Both gentleman and ladies at the front desk were so kind and helpful. Housekeeping is excellent and they are so friendly. The breakfast team are also friendly and kind. I had business meetings in Chicago and Oakbrook and the commute was easy. 25 minutes by car to Oakbrook and 45 minutes to Chicago. They are right next to the highway but it’s so quiet at the hotel. They are about 30-45 minutes from ORD. Easy to fill up the rental car across the way and make it to ORD without refilling. 10/10 I will stay here again. It was so nice I added another night for fun to shop and see the area. This is such a well run hotel. Kudos to their GM and owners for their dedication and commitment to making this a wonderful Hilton option.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The lobby smells horrible.. there are video gaming machines in the ‘lounge’.. there were dirty towels on the floor as we got out of elevator. The room smelled dirty… door looked as if it had kicked from the inside. Very old microwave… the bathroom had burns marks on counter, disgusting dirty tub and towels so old, threadbare, and a dingy/dirty white? I left and filed complaint with corporate. I will attach pictures… repeat DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! And there was no breakfast ..my daughter said she wouldn’t there anyway!!
