Originally, I went for the whole season chain, but this time I felt very bad about the front desk. First, the front desk did not inform that the floor of the room was being renovated when I checked in. I asked, can this meet the standard of occupancy? Has it been tested? Are we treating us as ”human activated carbon”? Second, the front desk knew that we had brought a child of several years, and arranged us in a room that had just replaced the wallpaper for a few days. The sound of KTV outside at night is extremely noisy. Anyway, I will not be able to live in Chengdu for the whole season.

In addition, Sanliba Metro Station is just a short walk away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Sichuan Tibet Highway (southern route), Baihe Park and People's Square. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Chengdu hotel provides parking on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling on business.

The front desk lady is very good. I booked a room on Trip.com for 2 breakfasts. I saw that our family of three took the initiative to give a breakfast coupon. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, I can also eat. Parking is free, and it is very convenient to park on the ground and underground. You can enter and exit at any time. Before departure, you need to enter the license plate registration at the front desk system. It is about 500 meters away from the subway station. You can go directly to Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road in the city center. It is worth noting that the hotel is an airport store. There is an airport store nearby that is easy to confuse. We made a mistake at the beginning. Fortunately, it is not far away.

I stayed in Chengdu for 4 days. This is the most comfortable place for me to live. The service is very good and the environment is very good. I am very satisfied with it. The customer service attendant, Aunt Yang Fengqiong, was very proactive in helping with the luggage and delivered good night milk. The free airport pick-up and drop-off service was also very good. The service of the airport drop-off driver on the 20th was very good. In short, I am not asking for help, it is a real evaluation.

First of all note down the phone number provided by the hotel when you book your room. As soon as you reach Chengdu, search for the inquiry desk and ask for help for airport pick up. The check-in in the hotel is swift and easy. The hotel is just behind the reception and the help desk is very friendly. The room was big and tidy, toilet aminites all provided. They even had breakfast which was a bit limited but was fresh and warm. Would recommend for a short stay for transit passengers. There are places to eat around the corner which is always nice.

Overall, it is a good hotel. The service attitude is very good. The environment is also good. The beds are very flat and clean. The facilities are complete. There are a lot of delicious food around. There is a Longqiao market, which is open around 16:00. There are a lot of snacks and braised meats, and it’s very close to buy fruits and meals. They also have a laundry room on the first floor, with a dryer and a garment steamer for easy washing. There is a relatively large outlet in Chengdu about 1 kilometer away. There are all major brands, which is perfect for shopping in the afternoon. There are also bus stations and subways nearby, and the transportation is convenient. There is also a power bank in the lobby, so you don’t have to worry about your phone running out of battery. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable when sleeping. The room It's clean and tidy. The self-service noodles in their restaurant are very good, and the stir-fried sauerkraut is delicious. The front desk staff also enthusiastically recommended us to try the Rujia noodles. They said that the Rujia noodles are from the restaurant. We tried them and it was quite good. , the restaurant lady is also very amiable, especially the waiters who were very polite and greeted them when they came to the front desk. Home Inn is doing better and better! I will definitely come back to their home if I have the opportunity in the future. Home Inn is my first choice for them when traveling for business. The hotel is really nice, and room big and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The only slight issue was the location - although it's very close to the airport, but I couldn't find the hotel shuttle bus stop (airport staff couldn't tell me either), and it took a while to figure out how to actually walk from the terminal to the hotel without walking in the middle of the traffic. However, the distance is ok to walk, once you figure out where to go.

Positive side: good location and it is very convenient to catch earlier plane.
Negative side: 1). The receptionnist was quite rude and impolite during the check-in process; 2). The volume of the shower was incredibly small and I was unable to take a shower; 3). The door has no soundproof, too thin; 4). The hotel refused to provide more drinking water except only 2 small bottles, which was not enough at all. The drinking water is a big problem in China, and many foreigners who come from the countries have a great resource of water cannot drink China’s tap water, because it can make them diarrhée; 6). The quality of the breakfast was undesirable and very boring, etc..

SShenhai^_^danIt was a very pleasant accommodation experience. This time I brought Xiaobao to Chengdu and spent a lot of time choosing a hotel (see pictures and comments). Some comments said that the facilities of a 10-year-old hotel could not keep up. Later, considering that I was traveling with Xiaobao alone, I chose Diaoyutai (I thought at least the location was good). The first feeling after arriving at the hotel: quiet, clean, sanitary, and enthusiastic. Check-in was very fast. Xiao Wang at the front desk upgraded my room type for free, and provided private butler-style service. The room provided a Dyson hair dryer. I have a lot of long hair, and the hair dryers provided by other hotels are difficult to dry. Book a location in advance to watch Sichuan Opera (4 minutes walk from the hotel). Xiaobao likes to take a bath and play in the water. The cleaning lady also disinfected and laid a disposable bathtub film and then put the water in... There are too many things to say. Next time I go to Chengdu, I will stay in this hotel, which can save a lot of time.

GGuest UserThe environment, hardware, service, and meals are super good. The photo is completely inferior to the atmosphere of the scene. The whole two-day trip, from morning to night, the family is taken care of in every way. The activities are rich and leisurely suitable for parents and children, but it will not be like the noise of children everywhere in the parent-child hotel. Adults and children can be fully relaxed. Deep into nature, adults are healed, children feel the fun of nature. Meals: Even breakfast is a private dish, you must order dinner, and there is a late night gift. Service: It is like going to a friend's house to be a guest, from reception, check-in to leaving, and be taken care of. Hardware: Yuan can say that everything is ingenuity! It's slightly like the style of Six Senses and Menghualu, but it's deep in the bamboo sea and cannot be replicated. It's all built with heart, that is, it's completely integrated into nature and has hard hardware support. The stay experience is very comfortable. Environment: unique, I can say thank you for having such a beautiful small courtyard in such a quiet place ”sit alone in the secluded, surviving and independent!”

Location is great for panda park with its shuttle bus but obviously far from city sights and i don't think theres anything else around. WiFi didn't connect and I had to get access code from front desk. I had already prepaid but was asked to pay when I checked in, they quickly rectified their mistake and apologised, but strange. Room was clean and comfortable, I slept well. Light switches are quite badly labelled though, you just have to press them all and see which lights you want. I went to check the spa but there was nothing there, so information on that needs updating. Outdoor pool looks great for kids, indoor one was quite busy (aug). All in all a good stay.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

EEmmanuelThe location is perfect. Just a short walk in between 2 metro stations that allow you to connect into 2 Metro Lines. The service is great. Real 5 Star Service especially the Butler service that assist us easily via WeChat. The breakfast buffet is amazing with wide selection of local and western breakfast choice. Staffs are all great and friendly. The room size is huge with a very nice view over the city. Although the hotel is a bit old but we can see that the hotel is well maintained and the amenities they provide is of high quality. One of us got sick with an upset stomach and the Buttler assisted us so nicely and even provided us a meal with room service for the upset stomach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chengdu.

Because I always need to find convenient and cost-effective accommodation when I bring children and the elderly. This is the best choice. It is very close to Kuanzhai Alley, People's Park, Metro, Tianfu Square, Taikoo Li, and Caotang. The hotel's eldest sister is enthusiastic. Since my itinerary is jumping and I need to check the physical condition of the elderly while traveling, the accommodation time will change. The eldest sister not only meets all our needs, but also helps us keep our luggage and turn on the air conditioner in advance. It's very heartwarming! This family-style hotel is very suitable for our family travel! I am very satisfied with the service and accommodation! ! !

There's also a convenience shop just next to the hotel which opens from 7am to 10pm. We stayed for a total of 7 nights throughout our 12-day trip, and the hotel kindly helped to safekeep our luggage when we went out for short trips around chengdu.
Many thanks to all staffs from Howdy Smart Hotel and we will definitely come back when we visit chengdu next time.

GGuest UserLocation was on the Chunxi Road , it's quite convenient for traveling by metro stations. Good news for money savers haha
The hostel was provided self service laundry stations on the rooftop, and it was quite cheap (around 18rmb++)
Reception was friendly especially Lucy, she helps me switch to single room due to I'm not familiar with sharing rooms with strangers 👀
I chat with them with a Chinese Guy until 6am morning walao eh hahah🤣😂
I didn't take any pictures while check in , whatever larh I got take photos before check out for you guys refer :)

JJessyT.Really lovely hostel! The staff are so nice and helpful, and they speak perfect English! They have free events which was fun and an awesome way to meet other backpackers! We stayed in a private room, which was nice! The room itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable. The bathrooms were also nice! Just sometimes no hot water for showering at night. Overall really good hostel, would definitely come back! Oh and lots of good restaurants and convenient stores around.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
