Hotels near Clock Tower, Chanthaburi

Stayed at this beautiful hotel for 15days during my recent trip to Chanthaburi from 11-26 April 2023. The rooms are superb and the service was impeccable. Reception is always available for any assistance. Security was available throughout the day and night. Chambermaids cleaned the rooms daily (or like me, I kept my room clean so they only came to clean up every 2 days). This hotel is a stone’s throw away from rimnam, the waterfront community. Lots of cafes, restaurants and nightspots for safe and peaceful eating and drinking until 12midnight. Hardly anything negative about this hotel. All good and near perfect. Transportation is easily available via Grab. Or if you rather, the hotel can call for a Mazda to take you wherever you want to go, within the city limits or further away. Central Chanthaburi is only a 66B Grab car ride away. Robinsons is also nearby. There’s a street market that will feed you well, within walking distance. Carpark is ample and readily available for hotel guests and visitors. (Ps if you can play the piano, there’s one at the lobby. Or if you there during the weekends, a pianist entertains your evening)

For many years, we have always been happy to finish our 3-month Thai tour to this hotel that is very quiet on the river. The rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is mainly oriented to Thai but it is in Thailand and not in Europe. The only negative are the cold eggs, also the prepared meals are not warm but good. Unfortunately, it is not understandable in the restaurant with the English knowledge that you don't want to have the fresh-maked mirror swept on both sides, but that was almost every hotel outside the tourist areas. We simply don't understand why young people don't speak a word English when it is allegedly learned in schools.

The usual Hop Inn standard, comfortable beds, everything well maintained and clean, absolutely nothing to complain about. Location is outstanding with lots of great eateries within easy walking distance. Will certainly stay again whenever I come to Chanthaburi again.

We had a coffee in the room with two bottles of water per day, a small refrigerator and the wifi worked well. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. There is a parking in front of the hotel where we could park our rented bike safely with a night and day garden. We enjoyed the lift because with the outside heat, climbing can become a disgusting exercise. The air conditioning worked well in our room. Breakfast is served from 6:00 to 10:00 on the second floor. Stayed here for 2 nights. First day of check-in The room is not okay at all. Contact the staff to change the room because I don't like the room on the corner, ask to change in the afternoon, tell me there is a room. Went to store things and come down to change, tell other customers no room already Sold to what does that mean Not enough to tell me to change the next day because there is no room from the factory condition Ram is unlikely to be full or full. When in the morning comes to ask to change the room The staff around the morning said that they didn't know the story, finally changed the new room, okay, but a little squined. Work, not talk at all It seems that we don't have a point at all. Do this, do not have to tell you to come to rest again. Probably won't come back

Reason for stay Was attending a wedding in the area and the reception was at the hotel in the evening. Parking Was adequate and seemed to have a security guard. Arrival Receptionist spoke ok English and we were helped with the bags to the room. Room Basic room. No tea or coffee making facilities. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and room. View was of parking and police building. Pool Didn’t get opportunity to use but seemed well maintained. Restaurant First night we ate outside and had the BBQ chicken skewers on offer. A little concerned that the meat and seafood was displayed outside but it was on ice and didn’t cause us any tummy issues. Did see 1 cockroach but otherwise everything was clean and tidy. Lunch- Had burgers which were nice. Breakfast- Traditional Thai breakfast which was ok. Overall staff could do with learning more English as there was difficulty ordering. Wedding Was held in one of the ballrooms. Food was lovely and wedding seemed to go without a hitch. Obviously the hotel is used to hosting big weddings.

Convenient location, easy travel, comfortable rooms, simple but chic decorations. There is no refrigerator in the room. The bathroom is not very clean. Maybe because the floor is black. It's a clear stain. Cleaning is not as good as it should be. Drinks are always available. There is a co-working space. The breakfast is good and has a lot of variety.

It's a van driver from Bangkok .. Just the customer chartered to see the work at Chanthaburi and Trat, first of all, thanks to the customer for taking good care of the driver. Very friendly Whether it's where you eat Arrange the same! Until I have to secretly care about customers .. Accommodation at Blue Rabbit as well, customers also book for the driver to sleep as well with the customer (but in different rooms). The hotel is not very big. And the location is not very far from the city And not busy, but allocate and decorate the room with a beautiful garden and a very practical space .. The lobby, corridor, elevator, restaurant and including parking lot. Comfortable to every corner.. Most importantly, the breakfast has a variety of items to eat and everything tastes delicious! Service section Polite reception And the younger brother who takes care of the cafeteria as well, this is not a 3-star hotel in terms of quality, give 5 stars, but the price is only 3 stars, I recommend it here. My friends and I visited Baan Rim Ao Resort in August 2019. Baan Rim Ao Resort is a bayside resort located near the Gulf of Thailand and many tourist attractions in Chanthaburi like Old Town Chantaboon Waterfront and The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. For the transportation to the resort, since my friends and I couldn't drive. We took a public transportation to Chanthaburi Bus Terminal. Then, we asked the resort to come pick us up. When we arrived at the resort, we were stunned by the beautiful scenery and the beautiful decoration. Moreover, the sound of the waterfall near the reception made us feel relaxed and so ready for a vacation that we longed for. The hotel's decoration is very simple but stunning. The wall has the quote about vacation painted on it, for example, 'travel more, worry less'. The room was amazing as well. The resort provided everything you wanted such as the fridge, the hairdryer, some snacks, some bottle of water, and television. The bathroom is very clean and quite big as well. The scenery from the room is stunning. We can see the pond of water lilies and the resort's garden which made us feel very relaxed and close to the nature and the swimming pool. The garden has so many place to take a picture and since it is near the bay, it is very windy too! But again, stunning view. The food is quite nice since the resort also has a restaurant called Bang Manao within the resort. Our first dinner there was remarkable. Breakfast was also provided. The resort had variety of food from sticky rice with a grilled pork to a cereal and a salad. Everything was yummy too, impressive! The resort also provided Wi-Fi to the guests. For us, the internet connection was quite good and we didn't have any problem using it. They also had bicycle rental service for the guests who wants to ride a bicycle around the area. We rode a bicycle to King Taksin The Great Shipyard which located very near the resort. Apart from that, thing that impressed us the most was the resort's staffs. The resort's staffs were very nice and friendly to us. We had a nice chat with P'Amm who was at the reception. The other staffs were friendly as well. They took care of us when we asked for a bicycle and since we couldn't drive, they drove us to the tourist attraction that we wanted to go before we went back to Bangkok. I would like to say again that they took care of the guests very well and you won't be disappointed. All in all, this was one of the most enjoyable trip that I had. Even though the resort located a bit far from the city, it was quiet and peaceful and worth every penny. Nice decoration, nice food, and the staffs were very nice too! If you want a nice and peaceful experience when you visit Chanthaburi, Baan Rim Ao resort is a place for you!
