So many errors with this hotel. First: The name is a sham! There is no beach at all connected to the hotel. To be honest there are no beaches nearby at all. They do have a maybe 50 meter connection to the sea squeezed in between two big concrete walls, but that should be more considered as a torned down harbour with a rocky coastline if anything. Often with lot of garbage floating close to shore. Secondly: The hotel tries to make money out of external events hiring their grounds, which happens to be all of the common areas left outside your own room like the pool area. We stayed there for eight nights (15-23/5 2022) and from 8am to 11pm there were about two to four events every day making noice and playing loud music constantly. Often at the same time. In a very limited area there could be a private birthday party playing live music, a private student celebration with a DJ and by ”the beach” a private fitness event playing loud bass music - all at the same time. So to try to relax was impossible. When that stopped around 11pm it was almost a relief just to hear the constant noice from the heavily trafficked road right outside the reception. Talk about reception, the third problem: Their wifi sucks big time! We were there working and it was impossible to do our jobs properly using the room wifi that was crashing most of the time. I know that the Philippines are not Europe, but since the wifi in the reception was always working, it depends more on poor equipment than the bandwidth. Maybe they could use some of the event money they earn and put in new equipment? Lastly: The service in the restaurant is terrible. To get food under an hour even if it is almost empty is impossible. And to get everyone served at the table at the same time never happened. But that seems to be a general Philippino thing. The room cleaning has also more to wish for. It is hard sometimes too se if they even has done anything more than just make the bed. But at least they filled up the toothbrushes. I think I had four untouched at the end... If they would put that efficacy in all they did, it would not make up for the constant sound pollution and the false name, but at least skip some irritation. With all this said, if you like to live in the middle of an amusement park - this is the place!

The cheapest hotel I could find. Stayed for 15 days. The rooms was on 4th floor nice and clean. I say rooms because halfway through our stay our air conditioning unit gave out so we were relocated(for free) to another room. The employees were all kind and willing to help with everything we needed. Location is nice. Almost next to Ayala mall and the general area is safe and easy to navigate/find transport in the form of either jeepney or bus. Decor is a bit gloomy and outdated. That beige on the walls is the only thing I disliked. It is by no means a 5 star hotel but it's a bargain for its price(15 euros a night) anyone would be stupid to pass. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit Cebu on a budget. We didn't taste their kitchen or visit the gym they have.

Moreover, the value for money was notable. Considering the high standards of cleanliness, the top-notch service, and the extensive amenities provided, we felt that our experience was worth every penny spent. It's rare to find a place that offers such a well-rounded experience without breaking the bank. In conclusion, our time at Solea Mactan was nothing short of incredible. The combination of cleanliness, exceptional service, a plethora of amenities, and the excellent value for money made our trip an unforgettable one. It's a destination that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing and fulfilling getaway.

From the moment we stepped into Bai Hotel, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The modern yet inviting atmosphere instantly put us at ease. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, from their prompt service to their helpful recommendations for exploring Cebu. The variety of dining options exceeded our expectations, and each meal was a culinary delight. Overall, our experience at Bai Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and we can't wait to return.

New building, nice and spacious rooms, they clean everyday and change towels. Refills of coffee and water. Complete amenities with your own kitchen refrigerator water kettle and dining area. Nice double beds. City view 😍 and nice swimming pool. They have great restaurant at the roof deck with great menu and 360 view of the city. Accomodating and helpful staff. It would be nice to be back.

We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

The rooms impress with their cleanliness, featuring cozy beds and a delightful atmosphere. The hotel's four restaurants provide diverse dining options, although prices are on the higher side due to its secluded location. The majority of the staff is friendly and supportive. The complimentary shuttle service to the city center, operating twice a day, adds a convenient touch. The breakfast buffet is extensive, offering a variety of choices. While the experience is satisfactory, it falls short of delivering a ”wow” factor compared to other hotels of the same rating we've visited before.

Check in and check out process both commendable, very quick. Room review: Bed and pillow were so comfortable to lay in. You’ll have a good night sleep in this hotel. It smelt fresh too. Cold AC and working television. Shower was also good, working shower heater. The room was spacious, paid $23 for a night, not bad. I’d stay here again if needed in the future. Cleanliness: Some areas needed improvement. Wardrobe was dull and dirty. Dusty night stand. Also noticed the comforter has tiny ink stains. And the towels, they smelt nice like laundry/ good detergent smell but they need to do better with washing off the stains. Breakfast: Had the bacon, rice and hard boiled egg. It was ok. I commend the staff for serving it quickly. Staff: Very courteous and attentive. Requested for a room with window, it was granted but no view 😂 All I see was a dark wall which made the room gloomy. Elevator sometimes get crowded, will take a while to be used better use the staircase if you are in a hurry. WIFI was bad, intermittent signal. And the entire day I didn’t have a good phone reception. So mobile data is useless.

Always go in this place yearly with my husband we enjoy the place is so private quiete so peaceful. We will never be tired coming and now our vacation on this place!!!
