We enjoyed so much the Maison Verchant and wanted to experience the Domaine de Verchant… and we cannot hide our disappointment in terms of accommodation and restaurant experience. The breakfast, the spa, the bellboy remain at high standards… but the room is so old (mattress too much used, not enough light in the bathroom, a leaking bathtub…) even tough we received a free upgrade. We had dinner at the La Plage - the apéritif was average but the staff was too busy, the starter was decent, the main course too dry and the dessert acceptable. As bread lovers, we were disappointed as it was so dry we did not finish it. The atmosphere in the room was spoiled by a very noisy wedding lunch - why did you not privatize the room for this event?
