My husband and I just returned from our vacation at Mandarin Como and I simply can not praise the staff and level of service received during our stay, it was perfection. We stayed at this property before the Mandarin acquired it and we were curious to see what changed. As it turns out, all the changes were for the better, and they have only improved upon the previous owners. There are of course other properties to consider on Como, but I can say with complete confidence that there is no better location than the Mandarin. Also it wasn't full of Americans the way some of the other hotels are, it was a sophisticated mix of clientele, and generally speaking, people were polite and kind, but you had plenty of privacy. Oh and the food was to die for, there are so many options and it was all fabulous. Happy booking, you wont regret it!

The room is very good, the room is facing the lake, the scenery is very good, but unfortunately there is no time. The most dissatisfied is the front desk clerk. I feel unfriendly to the Chinese and the tone is really hard. Is this a five-star waiter? ?

Very clean, friendly and a nice atmosphere and surroundings. And the View ( the real view) is amazing, you understand why the gave it that name when you seen it. I’ve been there both during winter, spring and summer, and it’s always amazing.

[Suitenhotel Paco Paradiso] (Lugano Station) The hotel is not at Lugano train station, closer to the next stop Paradiso. Out of the train station, you need to push the luggage to go uphill, walk 15-20min, very tiring. The hotel is built on the hillside and on the mountain, so Lobby is on the 2nd floor. And we booked the terrace room, in the PL floor, lawn, recliner, lake view, sunset... After all, it belongs to the Italian-speaking area, so the staff looks more like a passionate Italian. When checking in, there will be a welcoming welcome drink and a coupon to print the name of the occupant. The blonde glasses sister at the front desk will send us to the room and introduce the hotel facilities and opening hours all the way. At the moment of opening the door, I was shocked. The room area is not limited to the 24 square meters marked on the website. It is so big... Once the bedroom is in another room, the living room will be very spacious. The large writing desk is convenient for me to open the computer to process the mail. In the living room, two pull-down children's beds are hidden, which is suitable for a family of four. Slippers, shampoo and hair care kits, hotel amenities. The automatic flushing smart cover is installed in the toilet bowl. Compared to the balcony room upstairs, the room with its own garden terrace feels more like a house, lake view, and unobstructed view. Gym, sauna, bar, nightlife, choice. The first 2 items are free. When checking out, in addition to the room fee paid by the ctrip guarantee to the store, an additional tax is required: City tax: 8.8 CHF Tourist tax: 3.4 CHF Inform the front desk, you can call the taxi (Taxi) to the train station at any time. We thought we would send it to the nearest Paradiso train station. No, the driver sent us directly to the more Lugano station, 20min, and went downhill. This hotel (197 CHF/night, excluding breakfast) is more suitable for leisure vacations. Sign up at the hotel front desk for activities: mountain climbing, culture and art. When you leave, go to Foxtown and sweep the goods.

The hotel is very good. The room is quite large, suitable for family travel, there are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is not bad. The hotel's swimming pool is quite suitable for children. The lake at the entrance of the hotel is beautiful, the scenery is very good, and it is very comfortable to go out for a walk. The only downside is that it is far from the famous attractions in Switzerland, and Grindwa and Interlaken are still much more beautiful.

The accommodation is top in all areas. The only thing that has irritated us a little at the beginning is the unused reception. Check in online, but it has super hit. We could get into the room at 1400 instead of 1500. Because we wanted separate beds, and these were only in the higher category, we were simply ”upgraded”, just top. Also the extra bed for our 5-year-old daughter was mega comfortable. It was all very clean and the daily cleaning was Super. We are and were just excited. We will certainly come back. the best hostel experience of my travels. the hotel rooms are on the upper floors of a beautiful Villa right behind the Lugano train station (5 minute walk). the hostel rooms are in the cellar. one communitity bathroom with 2 showers and 2 WC and 3 separate rooms with bunk beds. small pillows, sheet and blanket are included. community kitchen and large fridge for food and drinks. the MOST AMAZING POOL! with sun lounge beds, small bar and towels. for a summer visit to Lugano, it is best value stay and very easy to find.

It's a fairytale! It took me a lot to decide if to take the risk to travel or not. I'm glad I did take the risk! This is the first holiday when I don't check anything about the place I was going to stay, surrounding area not at all, just wanted to escape London for a bit. From far one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The hotel looks like a museum, incredibly amazing, surprises didn't chased to happen, they have a pool, tennis court, soccer court so many facilities, it's crazy. The room I've stayed, stunning,the view from the balcony took my breath away. It's quite, it's beautiful, it's perfect! Hotel stuff, they couldn't do any better than this, friendly, willing to assist whenever necessary, I felt like home! I've even got an early check in 🤗.Thank you Domenico, Monica, Andrea, Manpreet and everyone else!!! For anyone looking to escape the madness from a busy city like London let's say, this is the best place to be! P.S. make sure you bring mosquitoes spray, as I've mentioned I haven't done any inquiries before coming so, mosquitoes attack wasn't fun at all. I was looking forward to have dinner in the outdoors restaurant which ended up being a nightmare, but it was entirely my fault, the hotel is located on a hill, surrendered by trees obviously you'll have to deal with mosquitoes. Very good accommodation! Polite and helpful staff. I would like to give more than 10/10 if I could. Every detail was thought out and rooms have everything for having a restful stay for a night after a long journey as we had and for a longer stay too…. Comfortable beds, slippers in the bathroom very good breakfast….everything ! We definitely will choose this hotel again during our next drive to Italy.
