Black mold, nothing open, water park closed, indoor pool closed and hot tub, outdoor pool full of pine needles and super far from resort rooms, bowling ping pong and shuffle board all closed at 9 pm as well as the bar so there was absolutely nothing to do for older teens or adults at the resort after 9. All the restaurants were closed except for 1. The rooms are run down the appliances didn’t work, the tvs ran off Internet that kept dropping, staff was not friendly or helpful in any way. My son left his sunglasses and hat in the one rec room when it closed and went down the next day to get them and they were gone. Security was no help at finding them considering the room was not open to public yet. Not to mention our floor had no security door and they were left hanging open for any and all animals to come on it! It was the worst resort we have ever stayed at! Would never recommend and would have given it no stars if that were an option. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The hotel service is good, but the rooms are really hard to find. The room is not small, but there are no windows, and the air conditioning cannot be adjusted. I booked two beds with my children and ended up with only one bed. People said that there are two sofa beds in the living room. It was okay to sleep, but it was very hot. Staying for one night was like baking all night. When I woke up the next day, my mouth was completely rotten. The hotel facilities are very old. The water park is paid separately.

I didn't like that the rooms had sharp corner on the nightstand and coffee table. My daughter hurt herself from the Coners. Staff was great. Indoor water park wasn't what I expected. It was very small.

The check in was awful.
Hundreds of rooms at this resort and everyone has to check inat the desk at the waterpark where only one person was working. They had to bring in security. There were atleast 100 people in line. The stay was fine. Room was very dated but we loved how quiet it was. We had a jetted tub that we enjoyed. Property itself was in need of help as well all of the landscaping needed attention. The putt putt area was and almost unusable.

Check in was ridiculous as there were only 2 people to help check in and the line was at least 10 deep. More help was needed. The rest of our stay was OK except for neighbors we had next door to our room were out in the hall playing soccer and their music was very loud well after midnight. When I asked them to please turn down the music they were very rude to me. The dates I was there were Friday April 26th to Sunday April 28th 2024.

They showing pictures not same. And they talking guests outside for small water park But for hotel guests they used same park. You don’t know they were come from. Is also nothing to do there. It’s hotel empty.

My experience at Split rock was good but not great. It was not worth the money my family and I spent to stay for a weekend. There was no house keeping done. There was not enough towels in the room, I ask for towels they said they will bring but never did. Other than hospitality the place was good. The breakfast was terrible, even though it was all you can eat. There was no bread. There was bacon, sausage, not real eggs and burnt potatoes than had no taste. It was terrible.
