Everything was a 10, from the lodge to the staff to the game drives and everything in between. The next day we went to visit another park and Sanbona is simply the best!

Our two night stay at Sanbona was truly exceptional. Over the course of our stay, we went out on four safaris- the first on the afternoon of our arrival and the final one on the morning of our departure. Jordan, our expert guide, brought us up close to all the animals we had wanted to see and more. His knowledge about the animals and passion for conservation was second to none. We stayed at Tilney Manor, where the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It was a highlight of our stay in South Africa- we could not recommend more highly.

Everything was just perfect, starting and ending with the people who did everything and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our guide Christopher was very knowledgeable and experienced, therefore able to find so much game, big and small. The reserve is exceptionally beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset, when we had our game drives. Every staff member, from our guide, people at the restaurant, at the reception and the management where very attentive and friendly. We only missed out on the cheetahs, so definitely coming back one day!

The level of service and attention paid to details was excellent. The bedroom was luxurious with the cherry on the cake with outdoor showers. Globally food, vines and all drinks were very qualitative. Adrian has been an inspired driver and passionate guide sharing with us rare moments with wildlife.

The Sanbone Wildlife Reserve came as a great surprise to me. I am a regular visitor to Addo National Elephant Park, Kruger National Park and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, so Sanbona with it's very different Karoo beauty, not only the animals, but the general scenery and plants was outstanding.

Sanbona is a dream come true. We chose this reserve because we didn’t have time to travel to the northeastern part of the country and 3 hours from Capetown is very easy doable. The breathtaking scenery and wildlife, combined with top-notch accommodations (Tilney House) and a team that anticipated our every wish, made this stay truly unforgettable. We could have stayed even longer.
