Exceptional experience at The Savoy Beach Hotel! The elegant decor, top-notch service, and serene ambiance made our stay unforgettable. Our room was spacious with stunning views, and the cuisine was divine. Perfect blend of luxury and comfort—highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

We honeymooned at the Savoy with friends from Canada. The experience was amazing from we entered the facility. We were treated with dignity and respect as four black people. The gentleman at reception took time to show us our room after check and the standard of the room was immaculate. We also had a wonderful experience at the spa. Absolutely fab experience!

We stayed in the hotel for 6 days after visiting Amalfi Coast. The best add value to our stay was the private beach club 93 where we enjoyed the sun and the sea with the complimentary services offered by the hotel. The room was basic but clean and spacious for the 3 of us. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was professional.

We booked this as it was advertised as Amalfi coast but it is not close to there at all. We had a car so we were able to get around, did a boat trip from solerno, but that’s an hour away, went to pompeii too which again over hour away. I think the price is reflective of the location, it was good value, and it’s a good base to explore, but having a car was helpful. Not sure what public transport links are like. We went to the beach club a few times, really nice there but as guests you’re only allowed from row 3 back, which seemed a bit mean. The hotel pools weren’t very inviting, they were dark / black, due to the tiles I guess, but it wasn’t the blue pool you hope for at a hotel. We didn’t use the spa as it was “discounted” to €50 to visit, per person, again this was a shame and seems a bit unfair, surly at least 1 visit could be included in your stay! The hotel was clean and impressive otherwise, seems a beautiful venue for a wedding. We heard the music one evening from a wedding, but it didn’t keep us up and wasn’t unbearable. Breakfast was nice but service a bit slow, most of the wait staff didn’t really speak English so it made it hard to communicate what we wanted at breakfast and it was slow to come out. They seemed to give Italian speaking guests much more information on what was where on arrival, we were just told to sit, didn’t spot the bacon & eggs on the bar until day 2! Very pretty location for the breakfast though. We didn’t eat in the evenings there, but there’s a few places walking distance or short car drive that are very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay but hopefully the above points manage expectations.

Lovely big hotel, but that’s it. Breakdown below. Hotel - Lovely and big - ideal for a wedding - if you’re not there for a wedding, there’s not much to do - Beach club wasn’t open when we went in late April but this wasn’t mentioned on their website - It states it’s a beach hotel but the beach is across the road and it’s not that good a beach, nice sunset that’s pretty much it! - Their specialty restaurant is too expensive - It was my birthday during our stay and they did give me a birthday “cake” during breakfast which was a nice touch! Location - states it’s on the amalfi coast but it is a good 2 hours away from the real amalfi coast - you will need a car to go anywhere - There’s a nice pizza restaurant nearby recommended by one of the receptionist staff.. not much else! Rooms - good size rooms - shower temperature was quite temperamental - hair dryer was one of those small white ones you have to hold the button down to keep turned on - TV was kept in a cupboard which was strange - No tea or coffee making facilities - Not many plugs available - No phone to contact reception Staff - Reception staff were okay. I wouldn’t say overly friendly or helpful - Staff in the breakfast area were nicer but still quite awkward The hotel itself was super quiet so that probably added to the awkwardness. Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Wedding or not.

We traveled south of the Amalfi Coast for the first time to see the ancient ruins in Paestum. The ruins of Poseidonia feature extremely well preserved Greek temples to Poseidon and Hera. Wanting to be close to the ruins, we picked the Savoy Hotel and Spa for its high rating and location. We were elated to arrive at such a special place; the extensive grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the spa services were top-notch, and the breakfast was unmatched for quality and choice. My only complaint is to myself: why didn’t we book for a few days more? It is worth staying here even if not to see the ruins — a great place to unwind from a hectic vacation!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were speechless with every aspect of this exceptional hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The grounds were kept in impeccable order and the hotel itself was by far the best we have stayed in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone…..just beautiful.

The hotel was absolutely incredible from professionalism of staff to the grounds it was on to the decorative pieces in the common areas - elegance and breath-taking views. We based ourselves here to travel to different places via car - Agropoli, Paestum, Temples, Salerno (boat trip), Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii. We woke up every morning, excited for free breakfast which consisted of eggs, bacon, fresh bread, orange juice and lots more options with an incredible view behind. The only thing we wished we did was the Spa but we didn’t have enough time. We went to various restaurants nearby - Pizzeria Villaggio Dei Pini (pizza), Gnhamburger (burgers) and we ate at the Beach Club which was great service. Couldn’t have asked for a better location away from the tourists places, base myself to explore, experience local culture and cuisine and we had the best holiday!! Thank you and hopefully see you in the future.

The hotel itself is magnificent and spotlessly clean … the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms on the 2nd floor offer a lovely view of the pool and the gardens - however the location is a popular wedding venue. 5 out of the 7 nights we stayed, there was a wedding which meant A. We couldn’t stroll in the gardens on an evening (the 2 nights there was no wedding the gardens were not lit at all which was disappointing) and B. The noise/music till early hours wasn’t good and made it difficult to sleep as it was so loud. Not very relaxing at 2am!!! There is nothing around only 1 other restaurant a 5 min walk away on the beach (there is also the beach club but this closed at 7pm) which left us a little restricted when it came to evening meals. A 10 min and 15 euro taxi however took you to a few other restaurants and the train station in paestrum. The beach itself is beautiful and would recommend a day at the beach club. Found a small supermarket across the road near the beach and a tobacconist an 8 min walk away which was good for snacks and drinks. Although the hotel is lovely we wouldn’t stay again mainly due to the remote location and the noise from the weddings.

A getaway from it all. The SPA is gorgeous and the staff very professional and friendly. Maddalena was exceptional. The SPA is pure beauty, not vast in size but created with taste and luxury. The outdoor pool lovely as well, and a breakfast to remember.

We had a great time but as this is a high turnover wedding venue the fireworks at 12.30 were unwelcome. Having said that the staff, venue and cleanliness were exceptional and the facilities too. Would highly recommend. The surrounding areas were less spectacular and a but rundown

I just want to start off saying that I rated this hotel 2 stars not because of the staff or the hotel itself but more so because of the location. It’s described as being on the Amalfi coast but it is so far from everything. We stayed here for 3 nights but I have never felt more bored, it literally was a ghost town. The hotel had no vibes or energy and it almost feels like a rehabilitation centre. I would say to avoid staying at this hotel if you want to explore the Amalfi coast, only stay here if you’re trying to escape. The area it comes under is Paestum not Amalfi. The staff were wonderful and the food was great. If it wasn’t for the beach bar across the road we would’ve been even more bored. I would also strongly recommend not driving which is a mistake we made as there are no traffic lights or speeding restrictions, although there are speed limits, they are not followed and the locals drive crazy. Overall, I would give this hotel 2 out of 5, 1 point for the staff and 1 for the food. The hotel is very picturesque but BORING!
