This hotel is a gem, if your lucky enough to travel to this unspoilt part of the island. The hotel offers large comfortable rooms with large balcony with both sea and Mountain View’s, always a soft large sun lounger and two lovely pools, whilst beautiful coves 5 miners walk. The breakfast is large selection with range fresh fruits and chose of cooked breakfast. This is a completely relaxing break you won’t want to leave. The hotels staff is its heart, they are attentive and extremely friendly but never too much the perfect balance I must thank the whole team especially Cati, Malena, Emma and Cecilia, all made this the perfect stay. While we stayed it was my wife’s birthday and it was made a holiday we both will not forget. Thank you.

Such a truly individual , wonderful and serene hotel. We have just returned from a 10 day break at this remarkable boutique hotel where there is space to dine, relax, sunbathe and unwind. We stayed in a spacious traditionally styled Spanish suite with balcony which had views to the sea and the beautiful pool. The Moraleja sets itself apart from all other boutique hotels by its attention to detail, personal service and 5 star food - wow what a delicious, beautifully presented breakfast was offered to us each morning which included traditional Spanish specialities, delicious pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits and hot dishes all served in the most uplifting environment on the terrace. Be assured, you will not find noisy kitchen service and queues for food at the Moraleja! It was an exceptional stay in a very well managed hotel. Definitely for couples looking for a restful, quiet and elegant break. Having been many times to Majorca this was our best holiday yet due to all of the above, helped of course by the amazing late September weather. We hired a car to get about the island - Palma and old town Pollensa are always on our hit list - however the two beaches at pretty Cala San Vicente are only a short walk down the hill so you could mange without. I would define this as a real boutique hotel. So many places say they are boutique but what does that really mean?! This place is intimate, beautiful, friendly and peaceful with the best view in town. And the most wonderful food. We even had fried egg and froi gras for breakfast!

Can't say enough about this hotel. Lovely big rooms, fabulous pool and surrounds. Lovely and quiet. Excellent service, staff fantastic. Loved the breakfast, great selection. Only issue was the water bottle situation wasn't fully explained to us on arrival but a small detail. Will definitely return, great for a quiet getaway. Loved the local village, it was prestine. I would also recommend hiring a car if you are staying here, buses are not so regular and it's easy to explore the surrounding areas with a car. Good availability of parking outside the hotel.

Situated in Cala Sans Vincent , about 7 km from Porto Pollensa & 5 km from Pollensa , this hotel is for those who want to get away from it all . It is just less than an hour from Palma and costs around 80 euros in a taxi . Cala San Vicent is small with a couple of small but crowded beautiful bays . There are a handful of restaurants - and a couple require booking in well in advance . You can travel by bus to Porto or the old town for a couple of euros and buses go every 1 hour and 15 minutes . The old town is fab and has some superb restaurants and is quaint and beautiful. At the hotel itself there are 2 pools where you can rest, relax and sun yourself without disturbance . It is situated next to the pool bar which makes some fabulous cocktails though on the pricey side at 15 euros . The staff are on the whole lovely & super helpful particularly in the bar and at reception . Teh rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. The owners however are another story. It is a family run hotel. The rooms are large and well appointed with tasteful furniture and the terraces are large, mostly with Mountain View’s . It has all the facilities one would expect in a 5 star including coffee making facilities and robes but it is not luxurious . We did not have breakfast . It is 25 euros a day each and not included . I received mixed reviews as to its quality and it did not look tempting enough. The restaurant was by and large empty but we ate here twice . The food was average but more than edible . The local supermarket 5 mins away , makes fresh croissant, pastries and baguettes which is handy. The main issue I had which has been mentioned in other reviews is that they take exception to residents drinking their own soft drinks ( in my case Diet Coke) and we had discussions around this topic twice . I made clear, I was not prepared to drink their watered down , over priced Diet Coke . The daughter in law of the owner , attempted to snatch my Diet Coke from me and 2 cubes of chocolate I had at the pool. This behaviour was totally unacceptable and beyond intrusive & rude . Their tendency in forcing customers to drink / eat all consumerables purchased from the hotel is quite frankly ridiculous . I have travelled all over the world and stayed in true 5 star hotels and never ever been treated in this way. I can understand why they don’t want people to drink shop bought alcohol but soft drinks and water is just beyond greedy on their part and leaves a sour taste . ( they charge 12.50 euros for a refillable bottle of water). I spent enough on accommodation and alcohol and I did not feel that it was necessary to reprimand customers for having their own soft drinks from the supermarket . At the end of the day, we could sit in our rooms all day long, drink and eat from the supermarket and never buy anything from the hotel so the policy is nonsensical. Other than this, the hotel is a peaceful haven of tranquility and if you want to get away from it al

An absolutely stunning hotel which really is so quiet and peaceful. Beautiful scenery, fabulous pools and lots of space between Sunbeds / tables etc. Great location - beach in easy walking distance and a short drive from Port de Pollensa. The staff are amazing especially at breakfast! The food is delicious and beautifully presented. So much choice of fresh local produce. We live on the island and visit many hotels - this is now our favourite ! Will be back for sure ! Thank you

Huge suites. Beautifully furnished with art and classic furniture. Exudes quality and style. Two well kept lovely pools with really comfortable spaced out sunbeds. Never busy although full. Most amazing breakfast. Order hot food or buffet with incredible selection. Sadly the lunch/dinner menus did not attract us. Not inspiring. Staff are helpful, charming and attentive. Would have appreciated water being replenished daily in the room, in a 5 star I would have expected that. Beach is not far but a bit of hill to get back. Ideally a car would be better here. Free easy parking.

This hotel is simply gorgeous. We wouldn't usually choose to travel in school holidays because most places are so hectic and busy but this hotel is calm and relaxing and beautiful. I think the hotel has about 23 rooms and even though it was full when we stayed, it never felt busy. The sunbeds were spread out in various little private areas around the two gorgeous pools and there were always plenty of empty beds. Our suite was huge with a lovely mountain view. It was spotlessly clean - the lady who looked after it was lovely. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and the wine was served in proper glasses - no horrible plastic glasses that some hotels use by the pool. The highlight for us each day was the breakfast. We've stayed in many hotels over the years but never had such a wonderful start to the day. The terrace is beautiful, elegant and serene. The buffet was varied and delicious. Each day there was a chef's special and he was happy to cook extras such as eggs, omelettes etc. The lady in charge of breakfast, Cecelia was just lovely. Each day she greeted us with such genuine warmth and she took care of everyone very well indeed. We are already looking at dates to return. All the staff were wonderful but Cecelia was very special. It was very clear that she loves her job and the hotel and we loved her! Thank you to everyone for a very special trip.

The room was very pleasant but found the bed mattresses made you too hot and the air-conditioning was not really controllable being the same whether switched to 18 or 5 degrees. Like a previous review we had to ask for the toiletries in our room on arrival. The room we had did not have any long-hanging in the wardrobe so I has to hang some of my clothes in the bathroom so that they wouldn't crease at the bottom. The hotel does not allow you to bring in your own food or drinks including water so you have to buy a container costing 10 euros that can then be replenished anytime but only if some-one is attending the bar. We had a couple of snacks at lunchtime and on the menu is sardines from a can. My husband ordered this but didn't expect the can to arrive on a plate in a 5 star hotel! (See photo). I'm sure more people would eat in the hotel if there was a different menu in the evening from lunchtime. They only have one paper menu too so if one table is looking at it you will have to wait until they've finished with it! We dined in the hotel one evening but there was no atmosphere. The food was less than average and the wine expensive. I had the entrecôte which was very fatty, On our last night at around 11.15pm we went to our room to find a pool of water in the entrance area with water dripping through the ceiling. The manager brought up a mop and left a bucket. After 45 minutes of constant dripping, we had to ask to be moved to another room but felt that good customer service should have offered that on inspection of the leak rather than just leaving a bucket. Not what you would expect from a 5* hotel. The staff are very friendly and work hard but there is only ever one person waiting tables/drinks so if you are by the pool and would like some liquid refreshment you have to go searching around the hotel for the water/waitress if they are not there. There is a bell but no-one ever answers it. The hotel brands itself as being a quiet hotel but it might be a good idea to ask guests not to make/take phone calls around the pool area. We had a few occasions where phones did not stop ringing and the persons answering were not discreet, disturbing all the other guests. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols around the pool areas that are all well spaced apart. The paving could do with sweeping as there is quite a lot of grit underfoot and this get transferred into the pools which you can feel underfoot in the shallow areas. We also felt that having to move rooms at after midnight due to the dripping water in our room, they could have offered a gesture of goodwill by not charging us for the wine we had with dinner or giving us the water bottles as complimentary items but nothing was forthcoming. Just something would have been good PR. On the whole the hotel was a pleasant place to be, beautifully furnished with some fantastic artwork. The staff, were polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel has potential but it is still rough around
