Sentido Fido Tucan - Beach Hotel Reviews

Just got back from a fantastic 7 nights at the Tucan, on arrival we were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink… well needed after travelling! Check in was fast and the staff were all friendly. Our room was very spacious, immaculately clean with also the option to be cleaned daily and a great pool view from the balcony! (Room 237), beds were also very comfortable! Slept like a log the whole week! The pool, spa and gym facilities were brilliant and there was always sun loungers free so never a rush on a morning, the day beds do cost €22 per day, however they were very comfortable and we were offered a class of cava each. Whilst celebrating my birthday when on holiday, the hotel put a complimentary bottle of cava in our room for me which was very thoughtful! Breakfast had a large variety of choice, we were just bed and breakfast so didn’t experience the lunch and evening meal however definitely something to consider in the future. Entertainment during the day and on the evening was enjoyable and the main entertainment man thrived with energy and got most people involved in the activities, he is a credit to the hotel, very friendly and approachable. Cala d’or is an absolutely stunning location, with the main part being just a 2 minute walk from the hotel, all local restraunt’s provided excellent service and the food was great all round. All of the local beaches were glorious also being just across the road from the hotel! Will definitely be returning in the future, Thankyou very much for an amazing holiday!

Our second visit to this hotel due to its location, breakfast and pool area. As relaxed as the last time we were here, no issues with sun beds and you get hotel towels to use on them. Breakfast is buffet so you can get as much or as little as you want and the selection is vast from cold meats, cereal and fresh fruit right through to full cooked items including fresh pancakes and fried eggs cooked at the counter. Sea view was in the far side from the pool with a view down Cala gran beach and very quiet as omits over a quiet street. Will look to stay here again next year.

My friend and I have just returned from a week at this hotel. My friend stated that it exceeded her expectations! Cheek! :) I had researched and chosen it! Great location close to beaches, shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a room with a sea view, or view of the very nice pool area. I think I’d request that next time. Even so, our room was good. Very clean and towels changed every day. The staff were friendly, smart and efficient. We did b&b as we like to go out on an evening for a wander and a bit of menu variety. The breakfast at the hotel though, was very good. We caught the evening entertainment a couple of times and it was very good also. Friends have seen our photos of the hotel on our social media and it looks as if a couple of them may look to book. I would certainly recommend it and return to the hotel and Cala d’Or again.

WOW ! I’ve read a number of reviews and I really don’t understand the ‘odd ‘ bad one ? Choosing this hotel was a last minute get away and we are so happy we came here. From the minute we walked in and we were checked in by Miguel a Spanish Liverpudlian, to the minute we left 7days later……outstanding ! We were All Inclusive, the food was amazing so much choice and my husband was very happy as chicken breast is his favourite meat and there it was every lunch and evening dinner. On our last day we did go to the pool bar where we had a lovely lunch. All the staff go out of their way, everyone are so friendly. The room had plenty of wardrobe/shelves and drawers, and was large enough to accommodate our cases after we had unpacked. The location is excellent being right in the centre of Cala D, Or and also near a beach if that’s what you like. Plenty of sun beds, parasols etc and the weather was excellent. Just one day the animation team put the music on very loud, it was clubbing music, so totally out of context for the age group there, I popped to reception and within 15 minutes the music was turned off, their motto if the customer is not happy then management is not happy. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back. It’s been utter bliss.
