I like this hotel because of the location. It has a small pool but unfortunately pigeons love the pool as much as a customers and I don't like pigeons. They need to do something to limit the number of pigeons that like to drink the pool water. There is a machine that you can buy that pigeons hate the sound of and the people can't hear. The rooms are a bit small but they gave me a room where I could see the Nile the Ritz-Carlton and the Egyptian museum so ask for room at the end of the building. Staff is top-notch and goes out of their way to help you. Don't book tourist from the concierge it's a rip off. I've stayed at this hotel three times because of the location and the professionalism of the staff.

What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

Semiramis Intercontinntal is the best IHG properties. Every time I stay at this hotel my loyalty to IHG increase. It has a great local ion facing the Nile river and located at the center of Cairo. All hotel staff are professional and very friendly which makes you feel that you are at your home with your family. Room size is large and very clean. On top of that, the hotel is taking all hygiene measures into account. When it comes to the food, the hotel have many choices and all are having a great taste. Semiramis Intercontinental is positively way far than many of IHG other properties. At the end I would like to send special thank to Mr. Mohamed Senousi, Mr, Mahmoud Yahya, Mr. Gergis Mikhael, Mr. Michel Yacoub, Mr. Hassan Mohammed ( Night & Day Restaurant) and Mr. Ehab Fawzy.

Staying at Novotel was a great experience, the hotel was nice loved my room!! Only few things I was disturbed how I asked for an iron & ironing board they kept taking it out of my room, when I needed it for my whole stay šŸ¤·šŸ½ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ½ā™€ļøšŸ™ƒ!! Secondly the jacuzzi wasn't hot so I can enjoy on my last day of stay. Lastly there was no microwave in the room but a mini fridge??! Usually hotels come with both. Other then that the hotel was great, the food I had to adjust to & the front desk person that checked me in & out was awesome!! Great customer service.

Picture perfect hotel, it was my first night in Cairo, and I didn't even realize at the time how good I had it. Compared to other properties, even other Marriott group properties this one is above and beyond on food and service. Location is beautiful, they awarded me early check in and late check out. As a Titanium Elite they upgraded me to a beautiful room, though I did use a suite night award for it, but it was epic. Room service was very nice, indoor pool and outdoor pool very nice. Indoor pool is amazing just beautiful, feels like your swimming somewhere very unique. The spa facilities can use also the sauna, jacuzzi (many options) overall a great hotel, and would definitely stay again in Cairo. Wish I stayed longer. I will share to all my families and friends

We arrived to Cairo to stay at the marriot hotel, a former beautiful palace. Unfortunately and even though we were given a really nice garden view room, we had some problems (noises) with the bathroom pipes during the night. Nevertheless the following day we explained the problem and we were not only changed without any question but offered an even better room! Thanks Qamar for all your help! This is what a 5 star hotel should be!

One of the best stays. The service is amazing. The gym has the most amazing view of the Nile river. The staff is very attentive and make sure you have a luxurious stay. Our room had the Nile view and was on the 14th floor. The hotel gets busy in the evenings. The hotel has the best food and also it has a lot of food joints opposite the road which requires 20 EP.

The most satisfying breakfast during my trip to Egypt! The breakfast closest to the Nile River, the environment is great, the breakfast ingredients are very fresh, and the taste is good. The room environment is a little old, and it can't be compared with the same level in China, but after going to 5-star hotels in Aswan and Luxor, I feel that this one is super cost-effective, hahahaha

The hotel is a great place to recuperate and layover before flying out from Cairo International Airport. Itā€™s easy to get to from terminal 3 via the link bridge. The staff are friendly especially Aziz who was exceptionally and helpful. We did a day trip before our flight in the AMs. The only problem is ordering an uber and getting it to come to the hotel lobby. I donā€™t know why but several drivers cancelled because the location picks up the arrival terminal instead of the hotel. The hotel has shuttles though that go to the city. Breakfast was also good and the staff was amazing. Peaceful atmosphere away from the airport lounges and chaos at the airport.

EEmilieGraceThis hotel is beautiful and breathtaking! It has an amazing pool and restaurants. However it is far from city center, itā€™s about 30-40 minutes away by taxi. It is a great spot for a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a couple days. The staff was super helpful and were willing to go the extra mile to make sure my stay was enjoyable!

PPenny BlackwellThe military runs this hotel. It is alcohol-free. People were smoking everywhere, which may or may not bother others. The breakfast and dining services were good. The room was clean but a little dated. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was helpful and always willing to answer questions and offer assistance. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day. I was disconnected/hung up on 3 times when trying to confirm that someone would be able to check us in when I arrived after midnight. I was told it would be fine but we had to wait for someone to check us in. The pool was great and we have no complaints. We had arranged a driver to take us on our tours so I am not sure if the location is good or not. Great hotel and would recommend it.

AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noiā¹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

GGuest UserThis hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ā€Pay at the Hotelā€ option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on Expedia and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.

Very Good
GGuest UserLovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe.

GGuest Userif you got room number start from 5, which means your room is at the garden view room, that was very terrible, the facilities are super old and not clean there. You`d must better to ask the staff to change your room, the rooms in the main building are renovated, with nicer facilities and cleaner shuttle bus is very convinient

GGuest UserI travelled in Egypt through April into early May, a good time to undertake the journey before the onslaught of intense summer heat. I am sole, independent traveller in my seventies and had pre-conceived ideas regarding the places I wanted to see and had researched modes of transportation. I arrived at Cairo Paradise Hotel, for which I have utmost praise. From reception to house-keeping, the staff are unfailingly courteous and helpful. My month in Cairo coincided with Ramadan and I was invited to partake of the evening meal at the break of fast. Ready to embark on my explorations, I soon realised that due to distances and piecing together public transport, considerable time and effort would need to be expended. I outlined my places to see wish list to Amr, the Hotel Touring Manager, who, with diligence application tailor-made an itinerary, including events and places off the ā€tourist trackā€ with drivers and at times, a guide. All came seamlessly to fruition with meetings at airports or train stations never failing to eventuate, at surprisingly low cost. I feel that I have captured the ā€Essence of Egypt.ā€

GGuest UserSwiss Inn Nile Hotel offers a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and spacious with beautiful views of the Nile. The staff are helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast buffet is extensive. It is also geographically convenient and has good access to tourist attractions. The only improvement is that the Wi-Fi signal is sometimes weak. Overall, Swiss Inn Nile Hotel is a great and relaxing place to stay.
