We have stayed here several times. Getting the essentials right results in a really comfortable stay... one to repeat. Why? - comfy beds - simple but clean accommodation - en suite bathroom - great location - tasty breakfast with plenty of choice - very reasonable price - warm and welcoming owner It all adds up to a most enjoyable experience and one that we will probably repeat.

Fourth visit to Casa Viana with 3 different groups of friends and all have come away extolling its virtues. Perfect location right on the main street with its half mile boardwalk running along the waters edge. The ferry boat (3 minute crossing) to the island and fantastic beach is 20m from the front door. Accommodation is simple, clean and large enough for the most discerning visitor. The rooms surround a small courtyard, 3 upstairs (and a shared veranda and lounge) and 5 bellow. Livia and her staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful and made the stay all the more enjoyable. Breakfast is continental, fresh and very relaxed. When you add in remarkable good value it can only be a 5 star review. Dave and Steph

This family run property is in a historic building of the little fishing village now small resort town is a gem. Can't miss it as it is the only pick building in town and right across from the boardwalk and water. The nightly rate was very reasonable. We had a room upstairs, there are some on the ground floor and the first which also has a nice outside patio and common area with a view of the river and barrier island. The rooms are simple but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is included in the rate, which is served in the front office/lounge area on the ground floor. The expanded continental breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Everything is an easy walk from the Casa and the train that goes up and down the coast is only about a 15 min walk from town. The staff couldn't have been nicer and we look forward to visiting frequently as one of our best friends now lives in Cabanas!
