What a noisy hotel, can hear the m1 trundling past, horrible service station food, was tired so wanted somewhere ti rest and to be honest would have had better sleep if pulled of on a lay by off the motorway

Good budget hotel. Receptionist was helpful, but housekeeping had forgotten to put any towels in the room. Useful location for getting into Nottingham.

Not great, but okay. Bare minimum service. Black ice at entrance, reported but no action taken. Breakfast box was disappointing. Otherwise clean and a decent nights sleep

Wonderful welcome from the young lady on reception. Room clean and all as you would expect from a Travelodge. But ... the most uncomfortable mattress and pillows I have ever experienced. I cannot believe that I have actually paid for the privilege. (I realise that for some the said mattress/pillows may provide the perfect night-time experience - just not for me.)

I had had a terrible journey and ended up lost in the early hours of the morning. I called Reception and Raff directed me to the hotel, staying on the phone until I arrived safely - very much appreciated.

For me outstanding manager,cannot help you enough. I'm here under not nice circumstances,but the staff and Manager have been nothing short of angels.Always happy to help,even when run ragged. The rooms are immaculately clean, lovely white crisp bedding comfortable and a good night's sleep dog friendly too which is amazing and very close to the M1 with a good array of shops next door.5 stars from me

Been back again! Same person as earlier in the year was on the desk. Such a happy chappy! Does what it says on the tin. Nothing fancy. Just a solid little hotel. Needs a bit of freshening up, but everything works and they have irons, hair dryers etc if you need it. The pillows were very thick! Mentioned it and apparently they’re new!

The Lodge could be better especially been a small one. The staff and reception need to be improved. The reception is always empty with no one. The showers need to be deep cleaned. Very bad smell in the room
