We made an overnight stay. The Hotel is around 10-12 minutes walk from the station. A sister Hotel Weisses Kreuz is right next to the station. The location is very good. Overlooking the lake and the beach promenade. The in house restaurant is good. We were satisfied with the dinner as well as the breakfast, however limited choice for vegetarians. The staff was helpful. The room was of decent size, on the smaller side. We found the price to be very expensive, but I believe it would be the same for most hotels in Brienz. A reasonable option for a short stay.

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful youth hostel. The framework is beautiful, with the blue-green Brienz lake and mountains. All is clean and welcome, breakfast is exquisite as well as the meal that is very good. We could only have passed from meat in the evening that was not top. We have a small garden with tables and transactions that gives on the lake. Just next to,a mini beach where to bathe. This very successful stay, I strongly recommend!

There were 16 of us for 2 nights. Everyone loved the hotel and we felt very comfortable. The dinners in particular were excellent. We also really appreciated the fact that the 4 children were given special attention. It is worth mentioning that the food was prepared for 4 people with special allergies and that alternatives were served as a matter of course, and these were also excellent. I didn't see the supermarket here, so I can take it from the big supermarket in Interlaken ost station. The hotel has a free bus card to pick up and drop off to Interlaken.
