NO ROOM SERVICE AT ALL IN 5 DAY STAY. I booked a Double room back in February 2024 ready for our holiday in Brunswick Germany in Sept 2024, when we came to visit friends. 1- On arrival we got to our room to find it wasn't a double as booked but a TWIN on the 2nd floor. We went back down to reception (no phone in the room) to request the DOUBLE room that had been booked for the past 6 months. The receptionist just SHRUGGED her shoulders NO APOLOGY and informed us that the hotel was full and there were no other rooms available, so we will have to 'PUSH THE BEDS TOGETHER.' Another man tried to say ' You got what you booked ' and was SO RUDE AND INSULTING!! 2- During our 4 full days stay (checked out on the 5th day) we had NO ROOM SERVICE AT ALL. During our stay, I had to go down to reception again and request fresh towels, as no room service. Again NO APOLOGY, just handed the towels with a glare from the same INSULTING man. 3- We had NO room coffee or tea top ups, NO bathroom cleaning, no clean cups!! We ended up having to go to the local McDonald's just around the corner to buy a coffee and food with a friendly smile. I have been using Premier Inn for all my UK trips and never had any issues, BUT THIS PREMIER INN IN BRUNSWICK GERMANY, IS AN INSULT TO THE UK BRAND NAME!!!!! DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL

This place is ideally located in the centre of town and near all you need including transport options. Rooms are small but reasonable, clean, strangely no fridge at all, very little in the way of toiletries (only a pump dispenser), secure and overall acceptable. The breakfast option was very good and worthwhile for sure. Staff at the front desk were polite and helpful.

The location of this hotel is perfect, situated just 3 minutes walk to the city area, close to REWA supermarket, cafes and small restaurants, and McDonalds opposite. The bus from the train station stops a very short walk away. The hotel reception was very welcoming and had no trouble extending our stay by another 10 days. Our room was modern, very clean, fresh towels daily, amenities and comfortable bed. Our room did not have a refrigerator or telephone but free Wifi and tea/coffee maki g facilities. As we had a room overlooking the wide area adjoining the hotel and close to a night club, it could be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights but the rest of the time was very quiet. A good breakfast was served daily. Overall this is a very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel given its proximity to the city and Cathedral precinct. It seems to be very popular judging by the constant stream of people checking in!!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at .Starting with the obnoxious admin guy. we booked two rooms, the air conditioner didn't work in both, we asked why, they said it's not hot in Germany, even though it was +32 outside. We could not open the windows, there was a terrible noise from the bar under the windows. there were not enough cleaning items, cotton pads, ear plugs, one towel for 2 people. And when a bloody handkerchief or tampon fell out from between the beds in the morning, it was a complete nightmare. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

We stayed for 9 nights at the end of June. The air con was broken during our entire stay - we moved rooms 3 times, looked at 5 - and were promised the air con would work in the next room, but it didn't. If you held your hand right against the air con, you could feel what I can only describe as a 'chihuhahua's breath' ... a very slight , warm hint of air movement! It was 30C in the room during our entire stay. We were looking forward to getting home for a good night's sleep!! Honestly, I've had less jetlag going to Sydney or New Zealand than staying in BS coming from Edinburgh... it took a good week to get back to normal after this exhausting stay. We were offered 4 night's refund and the option of moving into a different hotel ( paying the difference ourselves ) - because who wouldn't want to move rooms 3 times and then move into some other hotel and pay for the privilege? Most of our stay was taken up by either packing and unpacking , talking to some member of staff ( no-one talked to one another ) or discussing how horrible a stay it was at Premier Inn Braunschweig. 1 Star - I would give less if I could

This Premier Inn was way nicer than some of the hotels of the same chain that I have visited in the UK. The room was rather big and very clean, had a nice double bed, tea and coffee tray and a comfortable bathroom with everything I needed. I arrived late at night so all parking spots in front of the entrance were taken. I used the underground parking (9.50 Euro per night). Can´t comment on breakfast because I did not have it at the hotel. Instead I went to a bakery across the road which offers a large selection of buns and sandwiches at a much better price. Really liked my stay.

The Premier Inn in Braunschweig is a clear recommendation. Why? First of all, the location in the middle of the city center is top. We were in the city with friends to visit the Christmas market. Ideal! The single room was modern and spacious. Nothing was missing. The bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet. Everything was great. The bar for a nightcap after the Christmas market also impressed us. There is a good selection of drinks and the prices are not excessive, as is often the case in many hotel bars. The staff are friendly, both in the hotel bar and at reception. The breakfast was good and at 16.90 it was also a reasonable price... here too, other hotels in this category... especially those aimed at business guests... charge significantly more money. Overall, the price-performance ratio was really good. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is very pleasant. Good... we were a little late just after 9 a.m.... it wasn't really full anymore. Overall, we felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back. I would like to mention one small restriction: the public parking garage next door has been under renovation for several years and is therefore not available. This can make it a little difficult to find a parking space here and there. But this does not detract from the overall impression of the hotel. Logical conclusion: 5 out of 5.

Das perfekte Hotel in Braunschweig! Wir waren für eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück im Premier Inn City Hotel und es war wirklich top. Das geschmackvolle Interieur trägt zu einer wirklich sehr stilvollen und gleichzeitig gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Das trifft auch auf die Zimmer zu, eventuell könnte das Badezimmer mal etwas aufgemöbelt werden, aber trotzdem vollkommen ok. Alles sehr sauber und das Personal ist auch total freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist auch vollkommen ausreichend und für jeden was dabei. Na klar kann man beim frühstücken nie genug Auswahl haben, aber auch das was angeboten wurde war gut. Unterm Strich ein tolles Hotel was wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden.

Sehr schöne Lage vom Hotel. In paar Minuten in der City wo man sehr schön bummeln kann. Weihnachtsmarkt war auch gut zu finden . Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit .Zimmer war sehr sauber. Frühstück top. Alles dabei was man braucht Kommen gerne wieder .

…für einen kurzen City-Trip. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage im Zentrum von Braunschweig. Es ist nett und modern eingerichtet. An der Sauberkeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Das Frühstück bietet eine sehr gute Auswahl. Denke das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Sehr sauber und freundliches Personal . Hotel lag sehr zentral. Familien Zimmer war sehr geräumig . Frühstück war gut, so wie wir es auch von anderen Premier Inn Hotels kennen . Parken musste man beim Kino ,aber der Weg war nicht weit.

Vorweg: das Hotel ist ok. Deshalb sind wir auch schon mehrfach hier gewesen. Unser letzter Besuch war leider ein Reinfall. Grund: Probleme mit der Klimaanlage. Unsere Zimmertemperatur betrug stickige 26,5 - 28 Grad. Das Problem wurde auch von anderen Gästen an der Rezeption beklagt. Zimmerwechsel wurde angeboten, überall das Gleiche. Was gar nicht geht, ist in diesem Zusammenhang der Umgang mit den Gästen. Besonders, weil das Problem laut anderer Bewertungen wohl schon seit Wochen bekannt war. Dort beteuerte man, man werde mit Hochdruck an einer Lösung arbeiten. Scheinbar hat man aber gar kein Interesse daran… Beim Einchecken tat man so, als ob das Problem neu sei. Gab uns das Gefühl, wir könnten die Klimaanlage nicht richtig bedienen (Sie dürfen da nicht dauern drücken), man müsse abwarten, das ginge nicht so schnell ( nach Stunden wurde es sogar eher noch wärmer), draussen sei es heiss (warum buche ich im Sommer wohl ein Hotel mit Klimaanlage?), die Klimaanlage würde doch funktionieren (weil man ein Geräusch hörte), da brauche ich keinen Techniker rufen, es tat sich an der hohen Temperatur aber absolut nichts… (für mich ist das NICHT FUNKTIONIEREN… ) … etc. Die Fenster liessen sich nur Spaltbreit öffnen, waren aus Sicherheitsgründen verschlossen und durften nicht aufgeschlossen werden. Sehr sehr unerfreulich. Das Hotel wirbt mit gutem Schlaf (auch dank Klimaanlage), daran war bei uns nicht zu denken. Im Sommer nie wieder!
