Very welcoming and beautiful b&b. Only stayed one night, but would happily return. We had the superior room which was lovely, modern bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Huge comfy bed, pillows and duvet so soft, had a great nights sleep. It was so nice and toasty in there we had to turn the heating down, was the warmest I’ve been all winter so far. Bob recommend the local Indian for dinner, which didn’t disappoint, and there was a local pub both within a short walking distance, but not a lot else nearby, which was fine for us! Breakfast had to be pre ordered which again was great, this meant it was ready when we went down in the morning and was hot and fresh. All tasted amazing, and lots to choose from. Doorways were a bit short for my partner being 6’5” but that’s to be expected in an old house, and we had a good chuckle about it. All spotlessly clean, lots of handy info in the welcome book, but Bob was happy to answer any questions, (the attachment on email kept trying to open in Zoom for some reason ) It was also beautifully decorated for Christmas, felt very festive and cosy. Really happy with our stay :-) Side note: Lots of beautiful scenery nearby, we visited Lacock Abbey, which again was decorated for the season. Lovely village to look round, with quirky shops and cosy pubs.
