The pictured room is exactly what go get. The reason for the low rating is because the decor is really 1970's, the staff is nice but only one person is at the front desk and when someone checks in they put the phones on hold. And the front desk staff tends to be very apathetic. The room walls are very thin and you can hear any noise from the other rooms including the room above. The air condition is only effective when the shades are open but if it is a cool night you can open the balcony window to cool off the room. Also, speaking of the blinds, they are sheer and there is no other curtain. Luckily there is a building opposite and it blocks most of the morning light. The last thing is a general warning about Bogota. Do not go out alone. There are a lot of people that will prey on travelers, especially solo travelers.

We arrived at this hotel in the early hours of the morning (4am) after a long haul flight from the U.K. We were obviously very tired and check in was done very quickly and without any stress. We were taken up to our room which, on the face of it seemed spacious and nice, if a little tired, and went straight to bed. I can't fault the customer service, everyone was very professional, polite and welcoming. Disliked · As I showered the following morning, I noticed a dripping coming from the ceiling above the toilet and the ceiling was bowing. We agreed that once we were ready we would report this to reception. I was just drying my hair and there was a big whoosh and part of the ceiling came down! Luckily, no one was hurt but I am surprised that the housekeeping service had not picked up on the leak previously, as this had obviously been building up for some time! I called a lady from housekeeping who was along the corridor from us and she came and had a look and we were swiftly moved to another (not so nice) room that had a ceiling but we guessed had not been used for a while as smelt musty and when we ran the tap the water initially came out brown! It was the first day of our holiday and for the sake of one night didn't want to make a fuss! From our experience, the rooms badly need a refurb but the customer service we received was good.

The newly renovated hotel is clean, the facilities are in good condition, and the breakfast is rich, nutritious and delicious.

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. ＜3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. I love this place. I don't know why it's not more popular on TA. The location in Chapinero is terrific. The breakfast is fine. It's actually great for a budget hotel. It's within walking distance of Teatron and other *** clubs. It's the perfect place for sleeping, showering, and freshening up. Just the basics. Be sure to take a room with a view on a high floor! The only downside is there is no A/C in the room itself and the windows don't open. Wifi seems to always work fine.

Some of the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, other staff was quite rude. For example, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk to copy my vaccine cards, he practically snatched them out of my hands without saying a word. After handing me my copies, he began to walk away while my cards were still sitting in the copy machine. I politely asked for ”mis tarjetas, por favor.” He walked back over, still silent, and I said simply, ”Esos son importantes.” He chuckled under his breath but still said nothing as he handed the cards back. It was as if he simply had no interest in bothering with them unless I asked. Then, after I paid for the copies, he went to look for my change (1,000 pesos). He then told me in an irritated tone that they didn't have any change. I simply said, ”No es importante.” Throughout the whole interaction, he acted very rushed and inconvenienced, as if I was imposing on him, and he never offered the slightest apology for forgetting my vaccine cards or not having any change. (They were not busy at the time; there were two people working behind the counter and no other guests in line. At least the other fellow was professional, unlike his colleague.) I'm aware that my Spanish is still at an intermediate level; however, if you're going to work in the hotel industry (down the street from the airport, in a capital city, no less), the least you could do is show some courtesy to your guests. (We don't have to speak Spanish to pick up on your passive aggressiveness.) Also, when I arrived there were no towels in the room. It took three requests over about 35-40 minutes to get some. Everyone I talked to seemed very professional and intent on taking care of it, but somehow no one delivered until the third attempt. It was surprising, actually, because the room was immaculate and perfectly made up, except for having no towels of any kind. I enjoyed my dinner a lot, and the lady who waited on me was gracious and patient when conversing with me in Spanish. The restaurant took a few minutes to find, as there are two buildings, each with their own lobby, and the fellow at reception who checked me in didn't mention anything about the restaurant.

Everything was good super good food buffet style, the staff maximum , purge pulp, Recommendation , have tourist suggestions to places to visit x the tourists.where are the recreation places,where you can buy.ect

I arrive at the hotel and they told me that they cant give me my room and don't give any reason they pretend to move to an other hotel just one of my five nights so I have to do double checking and check and the come back to this hotel, after arguing them they give me a room that have 2 beds for my wife and me, if you are going to travel Bogotá select any other hotel. ---- Llegué a mi hotel cuando procedo a hacer checking me informam que mi habitación tiene un no Se que problema me informan que la solución es cambiar una noche de hotel y luego tener que volver al hotel, después de quejarme con el staff deciden darme otra habitación y está tiene dos camas cosa que para mi esposa y para mí no es solución.
