Comfort Inn Blacksburg University Area Reviews

I was very happy with the staff and accomidations at the hotel. I had an issue with the site telling me that I could only check in within a 2 hour window as I was traveling quite a way to get there and had no guarentee I could arrive in time. I called the hotel directly and spoke to a very nice woman who informed me that there was no set check in but that she would put a note in my reservation that I would be arriving late. Also when I arrived I found out that the hotel welcomes pets with no additional fee and so was able to take my rabbits into the romm with me rather than leave them in the car overnight ( they are show rabbits each with their own cage with food and water). The staff loved seeing the different breeds that I show and that made the visit more special. I will make sure to book there again when I go to the next show.

This is very old or property, specially the hallway to rooms, not so clean and dilapidated floors inside the elevator, breakfast is just to say we served because no choice and spoiled banana and apples.

I was pleasantly surprised about the hotel. It was comfortable and quiet. The welcoming staff and hot breakfast were really appreciated. It is easy to get to VT from this hotel.

The good: close to VT, friendly staff, clean room. The bad: the air conditioner didn’t work at all, there was a street light outside that lit up the room at night even with the curtain closed, the bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Its was the worst nights sleep we’ve had in a long time.

It was very clean! The staff were welcoming even late at night when I arrived after my long trip. It was nice to be greeted with a smile. Keep up the good work will definitely be back. Thank you! A satisfied customer 🙃

Very welcoming. Feels like a new building-well maintained, immaculate. A great value for the money.

Great checkin and ladies were super nice. Room was comfy and the breakfast is top notch. Best I have had at a Choice hotel.

Comfort Inn needs to purchase new pillows. One beds was broken, the door looked like someone tried to break in and the hair dryer didn't work.

I stay here a lot and have not been disappointed. I've tried a few other options around the area when no rooms were available and I've always come back to the Comfort Inn - it is indeed a comfortable, well located and well priced option for Blacksburg.

Convenient but outdated and old facilities! Heating unit old, bathroom cold, ladybugs coming through AC unit. Found a pill on floor of bathroom, chair in room has food stains on it as does the carpet.
