Alunan Resort All Inclusive (2 Night Min.)
4.4/556 Reviews
Booked All Inclusive package. The staff were generally warm, both in kuala besut office and Perhentian island, there were a lot of stairs and very steep ramps to go to rooms. The room we had is spacious and there are stairs that leads up to the balcony.nice view and can hang wet clothes to dry. The package includes unlimited food and beverage, no in room dining. The food is average overall, we didn't get to have western/Italian food for dinner due to the weather, the restaurant was closed.Wonder why can't they just cook at the main kitchen(Bayu restaurant). So we sort of lose out here. However, we did get to have it on the last night there, once out of 3 nights. The teh tarik at bayu restaurant was nice. Our package included unlimited snorkeling trips too, the trips are twice a day, with different islands for each trip.Unfortunately in Sept, the weather was bad, 🌧 every evening .Snorkeling trip and sunset cruise were cancelled. So we did batik painting, played congkak, foosball, adopt corals and just hang out at the beach. Oh, glass bottom tour is highly recommended as we get to see and have better understanding on the corals. In summary, we enjoyed our time in Perhentian but I don't think that the package is worth it if you go in Sept. Especially if you don't take alcoholic drinks.

Fairfield by Marriott Kuala Besut
4.4/526 Reviews
It is very nice to take children on vacation in a hotel. There is no need to go out to sea. Snorkeling at Marriott Beach is very beautiful, and there are many fish. The boat to the island is very luxurious and new. Room: The overall design of the room is good. There is a balcony, a Toto smart toilet in the bathroom, mouthwash, and the smell of bath essential oils is good. The bathroom is large, which is very convenient for bathing children. There is also a bathtub for bathing and bath salts are provided. Dining: There are three restaurants. Western food is delicious, especially meat and grilled lamb chops. The only shortcoming is that there are fewer Chinese dishes. After eating a few meals, I missed Chinese dishes such as fried rice, fried water spinach and steamed fish. It is suggested that the hotel can add Chinese food. Facilities: Three swimming pools, the water is quite clean and not cold. I didn’t have time to go to the gym. The parent-child children’s center can take care of children and has handicraft classes. There are also some yoga classes, cooking classes, and diving coral introductions that I didn’t have time to experience. The hotel also has a diving center where you can book sea trips and rent diving equipment.
OMBAK DIVE RESORT

Perfect location, right on the beach to watch the sunset. Everything you need is nearby and Long Beach a 10 minute walk from Ombak. Comfy bed and air conditioning all day. Friendly helpful staff always available. Top class full day snorkelling trip booked at reception, our skipper Mat, a local islander, he made the day, helpful with the gear and in the water made sure we saw everything, coral, turtles, nemos and sharks, cannot recommend Mat enough, thank you ☺️.
Temu Primula

We stayed at temu primula for 1 night before our journey to perhentian island. The hotel is near to the beach area. Room is spacious and clean. But need a bit of maintenance especially at the corridor and outside the hotel. Got eating place like fast food chain nearby but need to travel by car.

Sorry for the low rate.. booking online via trip.com.. from Perak to here which almost took 6-7 hours.. to arrive.. the hotel that was booked seems to have people check in first.. double booking.. even though the owner already paid back the booked amount .. it still feels like an error .. he is tired .. there is no need to find another hotel .. again the cost will increase .. sorry .. the owner will take a small amount .. pls check with the registered provider ..
