Hotel RH Royal - Recommend for Adults

Great position between the old town and the crazy town. Comfortable beds and fantastic food. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff really helpful and friendly. Entertainment was ok as well. Hard to fault anything really. Drinks not too expensive either.

So firstly the drop off to this hotel is round the corner. Once we arrived at reception we were told a double room was booked. I had especially put down on the Easyjet special request a twin room was needed. However the lady on reception at this time was able to accommodate this after a few hours. Hotel is clean and modern. Air conditioning in the room wasn't great but it worked. Good size rooms. Cleaned daily to a good standard. I never got excited about meal times. Food was never hot unfortunately. There was alot of the same food everyday. Bar staff were slow at times but friendly. Best part for me was meeting David the entertainment host. He tried his best to get people involved with the daily activities. I did get involved as well as did lots of other guests. But as it was a bit repeatable I think people got fed up. My suggestion is to have different games everyday. Every week different. Have a small prize for the winners. But credit to David extremely likeable fella. He made my holiday better along with a lovely northern Ireland family I met. Please give him a pay rise. He certainly deserves it. David Made sure the hotel knew it was my birthday . Would I return probably not the area was too built up for me. But would pop in to say hello to David. Asset to this hotel 100 .

We had such a lovely 4 night stay in the Royal Hotel, the staff are so lovely and friendly. We had a room on the 9th floor which was great, Food was fabulous, such a huge choice for breakfast and the evening meal just great. The Sunday sirloin beef was so lovely and great Yorkshire puddings. Pizza really good and last night chicken fajitas were just so tasty. We will defo come back and stay here again, my only quibble was people leaving empty sunloungers for hours. We would have loved a lounger around the pool but yesterday I counted 22 empty sunloungers and the people must have gone out and left their towels. 2 ladies came back got their towels and went to their rooms.

Just got back from another brilliant holiday staying at the RH Royal hotel in Benidorm This is the second year running we have stayed at this hotel, once again everything was spot on the staff were friendly and helpful the hotel was kept very clean and tidy. We had no complaints at all, we enjoyed it so much we have Reeboked for the same time next year.

Another lovely holiday our 7th at this hotel perfect location for old town .Fabulouse food clean and relaxing accommodation .Same friendly staff our thanks to Alfonso in the bar Rosa in dinning room and what can we say about MR ENTERTAINMENT David you kept us occupied with Archery Shuffle board and Bingo .hope you had good time with your family in Lisbon.Have booked to go back next year hope to see you then .

We really had a great time at the RH Royal, we normally go to the RH Victoria, however this time we picked the Royal to compare with its sister hotel. All was as expected, the hotel is a little Quieter than the Victoria but that was absolutely fine, we have always found RH hotels to be excellent. The Staff were all very helpful, attentive and polite, the rooms are well maintained and clean. A big thankyou to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant, not forgetting the back of house staff who work in the background making the Hotel a great place to stay also a special mention to Rosi in the Restaurant who always looked after us. The main question is would we use the hotel again, absolutely.

We got room at the front we found it noisy with deliveries, bottles getting dumped and car/bus horns blasting every morning, the breakfast was good as was most meals I went for I did the full board which I shouldn’t have as only had dinner twice as so many places to eat out in the area. Only two very slow lifts which are tiny 4 people max so long wait sometimes and not many sun beds I only went there once couldn’t get one so sat on a chair to dry off after a swim. I had a €90 euro credit to use that I thought I would use on our last day but once noon check out was done they said we lost the remaining €50 as we where no longer guests of hotel so I thought that was a bit pathetic not to honour the rest of my credit for a few drink as I had a few hours before check out but whatever makes them happy!! I wouldn’t stay here again

Here is a hotel that knows what its key clientele like and does its best to delivery. Everything you could want really if in the key demographic ;-) We stayed during April so the air conditioning challenges were not an issue and found the general ambience of the place to be great. As an adults only hotel this does mean entertainment on an evening keyed to the age group present so nothing noisy and as said, songs where you know the words, plus quizzes and staff who join in and have a laugh. Good bar staff who know how to pour drinks of the correct consistency if you know what I mean ... Location is great for access to the beaches and old town as well as the wilder end of Benidorm if feeling adventurous. We ate out all week so cannot comment on anything but the breakfast and this was good quality and plenty of selection as expected. Archetypal hotel for Brits abroad such as my wife and I in our late 50's but still looking for a good time while on holiday.

On arrival at our room there was one free small bottle of water, which is a bit mean considering there were two of us staying in the room. Also, initially there was only one pillow per person for the beds, which was not what we are used to at home or other hotels we have stayed at. This was quickly resolved by speaking with the staff at reception, Another minor thing was coffee, milk, and sugar was only supplied enough for one coffee each per day which was totally inadequuate. The bed was comfortable, and the balcony was spacious, and we even had a sea view which was very nice. The room was also very quiet. We never had any problem with the lifts or the air conditionining. There was a good selection of food that was mostly great, and as we were all inclusive, there was always something we could eat, even some days if it was chips and bread rolls or pizza. There were plenty of sunbeds available, and no need to reserve one despite the usual suspects waiting to reserve their place at 9am. The old town shops are about 10 minutes walk away, as is the beach. The sea is warmer than the hotel pool, and you can get a sunbed on the beach for six euros if you wish. The entertainment was mostly the same every night with a singer singing the same songs every night, which I found a bit boring, as the quality of the singers was also poor. There was a quiz one night which was biased towards people that knew Benidorm, and one other night there were some jugglers. Entertainment was probably aimed at the over 70's. (I am 62). We would probably stay here again, as overall it was not too bad. The staff were all very helpful, so no need to list individual names.
