The location of the hotel was great - it was near the Wangfujing shopping district, and walking distance to numerous public transport options. However, the housekeeping team was not thorough - there were often clumps of hair lying in the room (we even found someone’s used contact lens) and it was as if they just gathered the dust / dirt together and left it there. The plumbing in the hotel is weak, and the smell of sewage lingers in the toilet. The hotel was otherwise cozy and the reception staff were also helpful.

Need to compliment the service staffs here, very helpful and kind, especially Ms Su. She helped us double check our train tickets. We didn't have local number so the staffs also help to use their personal phone to do food ordering for us. We have some parcels sent to the hotel and had some issues, the frontdesk also help to talk to logistic people to arrange them to resend the correct item. All in all I will come back just for the service staffs. Located near train station which is nearby alot of attractions.

I recently stayed at Jianguo Hidden Hotel Beijing Tian’anmen again, and it was another pleasant experience. The hotel’s location near Tian’anmen Square is incredibly convenient for sightseeing, with easy access to key attractions and public transport. The serene ambiance and stylish design make it a peaceful retreat in the city. My room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing and will definitely return.

They were efficient in handling my check - in, providing all the necessary information about the hotel facilities and services. Any questions I had were answered patiently, and they even offered some great local tips on where to grab a late - night snack, which was very thoughtful. Room My room was a haven of comfort. It was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows and high - quality linens that ensured a restful night's sleep. The room was equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, including a flat - screen TV, a well - stocked minibar, and a powerful air - conditioning system that maintained a perfect temperature throughout the night. Good location, can say that it’s located in the middle of everything. We can stay in just one place for all the tourist attractions the we plan to go. Because it close to line 1 and line 8 of the metro. You can walk to the metro with in 2 blocks away only less than 10 mins. You also can walk to wang fu jing easily, many foods and shopping malls, also can walk to the forbidden city, also close to the tour bus to the great wall. The room also quite clean, free snack and drinks in the fridge everyday, you can late check out and also can leave your luggage with the hotel they have self service locker for your luggage. But in winter season suggest to book the room with window otherwise too hot due to the heater. Staff are friendly and try to speak english with us. :) But just one thing that there’s always smell of food but maybe because we are on the second floor.

Room is clean and spacious. Housed under 1 roof in a mall with plenty of eateries, cafes and restaurants (Level 6-8) + retail outlets etc. Nothing much for housekeeping to do but inconsistencies were still observed everyday (Final Night) e.g. number of towel sets, drinking mugs not washed, empty bottles which were not from the hotel minibar list not disposed off, trash bags not replaced after emptying trash cans - Stayed so many nights with no special benefits, can’t even provide ice cubes after 10PM and have to collect them from restaurant at Level 8. - Again, fundamentals which a 5-star rated hotel should have as bare minimums.

Nice to find a hotel that offers family room for 4 in a single room - I guess in China it’s still rare for there to be more than 1 child in a family! The room was a good size with a very comfortable super king bed that fits 3 persons and an additional single bed. Bathroom was big with bath and separate rain shower. Bar was closed (for good??). Annoying as we had family who came to visit and wanted to have a drink together that isn’t just wine. At least offer some beer in your restaurant if the bar is closed. Breakfast was vast, lots of choice. But for the price I would expect better包子 and 油条. Felt like they came from a packet, not freshly made. I can get so much better on a street cart for less than £1, so very disappointing that a five star hotel cannot make decent Chinese staples. I would say the 豆腐脑, and 葱花饼 was lovely, and I stuck with this for the duration of the stay.

The room is not large but perfectly well equipped with all you need. Spot on cleaning, very travellers friendly room,love the universal plug and bed side switch! Free minibar in your room and mid night snacks at the lobby. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style- carb heavy and lacking variety. Absolutely love the self serviced free laundry and drying in the lobby too! The staff is so nice and gone beyond to assist you! They’re pretty responsive and can be reached with WeChat! The only cons is the room smells like cigarettes which I find it pretty common across mainland China.

the hotel is small but very homey. the hotel, the room and the restaurant are very clean. there are 24/7 tea, soft drinks, and fruits. they have a buffet open every night, and it's free for the guest. overall, it's very good and recommended for overseas travelers😀
