Jayakarta Hotel Lombok Reviews

Lovely place to stay and great setting. Breakfast was extensive and very enjoyable. Only gripe was a wedding reception right outside our room, which started on the lawn in the evening and commenced with a loud activity in the early am.

Hotel seems dated but well maintained. Cleanliness may be improved,staff is attentive and friendly. Beachfront but unfortunately beach is not as nice as other beaches in Lombok. I’m happy with my stay here anyway.

Lovely resort hotel. The decor is a bit dated but has everything you need. Fantastic views for the buffet breakfast and pool is nice. Great location for the beach

This old dame is a little tired ( 30 years old) but functional and got great grounds and gardens and well maintained. An upgrade to a sea view room was most appreciated. Service was prompt although at time the wait time could be improved but what the hell you are on holidays. A worth mention is the welcoming and caring attitude of all staff of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was well balanced and offer local and western food items. Good size pool with separate children’s pool, sufficient loungers at most times. A better spread of T V channels would be nice but if not be sure you bring a tablet or iPad along to get informed about happenings, Wi-Fi is available everywhere so is good thing. Am pleased with the hotel.

Hotel is really quite nice and excellent value. Rooms are clean and made up each day. Beds are great and linen is as new. Staff are super friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile and hello. Food is good. Breakfast has a lot of selection and is well presented. Lunch by the pool was very nice too. Pool is excellent as is the beach in front of the hotel with direct access. But wear googles if you plan to spend much time underwater in the pool as the chlorine is present. A nice selection of local eateries on the beach 400 m South of the hotel that are wonderful places to enjoy the sunset. Just use your phone to translate the menu and understand that they are alcohol free. But you can easily feed a family of four for 250K idr with dessert and drinks. Drinks at the hotel pool bar are quite strong about half the price of Australia so good value. Mostly Indonesian clientele but everyone is very friendly. We saw quite a few European guests but we were the only Aussies. Lombok certainly isn't overrun yet and is much quicker to get around than Bali. Probably my only concern is that Senggigi as a location hasn't really recovered from the Covid shutdown yet. Great place to base yourself for Gili Islands, the Wild life park, White Water rafting, and the Waterfalls north of the main Volcano. But Not a heck of a lot to do in Senggigi itself.

The room is too old and too run-down. There is a very strong old smell inside, which is very uncomfortable. It feels like living in an old and run-down house. The scenery and environment outside the room are good.

The price/performance ratio is very high, 150 per person with breakfast and facing the sea, why do you need a bicycle? ! The hotel's lunch and dinner a la carte are not expensive, without alcohol, about 40 per person. 10% discount on food and beverages: used 2 times

The cool place near the sea to the mountains is not far away, really cool and beautiful

There is no hot water

Loved my stay in this resort, it has so much to offer! The staff is so friendly and attentive, they make you feel very welcome throughout your stay. Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet, lots of Indonesian and sufficient continental options. Food is very tasty, compliments to the chef and his staff. The pool is great,immediate access to the beach. The rooms are comfortable, though the furniture is somewhat outdated. The bed is comfortable, which is most important and I had a private balcony to enjoy some quiet time. This was my second stay here, and I wouldn’t mind to come for a third. A big ‘thank you’ to the managers and staff of Jayakarta Lombok!

This hotel has access to Senggigi Beach, so when we have breakfast, we can eat on the edge of the beach. The ornaments in this hotel feel ancient and there are lots of wooden elements.the room is not airtight and has wide windows.This hotel was built in early 2000.

I think I am going to give this hotel some justice. I had a lovely 6 nights stay here, beds were very comfortable, rooms were very clean, great breakfast options at the restaurant right where the beach is. Swimming pools looked nice, next to the restaurant. The staff were absolutely wonderful, very helpful and very considerate to their guests. The only downside is that the rooms do need serious upgrades but I won't put that as a negative - this is something that the hotel needs to think about in the long run. Other than that, it deserves a 5 star from me.
