Location of the hotel is superb, with walking distance of 10 minutes to the city centre near Romans bath. General atmosphere of the hotel is good. Room is comfy and nicely decorated. However, when we first got into the room, I noticed there was a used bath towel (probably left by the previous guest) left hanging inside the bathroom which is not so good…..😊 Otherwise it is good and I highly recommend it to everyone seeking a decent good hotel near city centre.

Perfect location for visting Bath. Superior rooms were large and nicely decorated. Friendly staff at reception and restaurant.

Comfortable room, location convenient to access city of bath spa. We’re surprised to receive yummy warm chocolate chip cookies as our welcome gift. Excellent service

What lovely staff! That’s what always makes a stay and this was perfect because nothing was too much trouble! 100% recommend. Cheerful and smiley and every need met! A good buffet for breakfast, comfortable room, all v convenient for Bath centre on foot. Parking easy under the hotel and a great Waitrose next door! Sorry didn’t take pics but would stay again without a doubt 😊

Service is not worth as it cost. I paid for more than eleven thousand Baht. But I have to pay 15£ for 24 hr. parking. Which i understanded that I could bring my car in and out as many times as I could since I agreed to pay for 24 hr. But it was not. Every time I brough my car out from the parking lot I had to pay for it.

Fantastic location, great hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy with a beautiful view. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in a long time, lovely bright restaurant with really friendly staff. We will absolutely be back.

At first check-in, staff said my booking’s payment was failed, I showed my booking confirmation with clearly stated payment successful, then he printed a confirmation for me to sign but I found that’s another one’s booking… totally another name… The 2nd print out was just showing my name without another personal information and I was told it’s okay to sign… Once I entered my room, there’s no bath tub, I called the concierge and claimed that when I booked this room type, photo clearly showed there’s bath tub and that’s why I chose this more expensive room type, staff just told me only Superior King room type offered bath tub… When I tried to take a shower, there’s no shower gel & face tissue in the toilet… what a big surprise that a so called 4 stars hotel could provide such service standard… I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone going to BATH for a visit… And what’s more, this is my Birthday trip with more than 3 hrs drive from the North, they really gave me a BIG surprise!!

Good location, good service by staff, good breakfast. Only downside was the windows crash issue affect the house keeping service.

Awful service from the front desk. Waited 50minutes to check in only to then be given a room that was occupied. The front desk trainee was useless offered no apology and also did not offer cookies that were being given by other front desk staff. Second room was okay. Hair on the bed and toothpaste on the door. I think Bath could do better and Double Tree Bath can raise its standards in-line with other Double Trees
