My brother recommends us to come to stay at this little beautiful resort. Large rooms and very comfortable and quite private - no rooms face each other. Beautiful garden, pool and restaurant as well as comfy furniture. My sons go for scuba diving, while I enjoy a lot of my own relaxing time on reading books and watching the small boats pass by. Food is tasty, especially the pizzas, curry chicken, Seafood platter. Our family has a great time here by choosing the right resort!

My dog and I were actually celebrating our birthday during the stay. We arrived around 8:30pm as we had some errands before going to the resort. As for the room, WOW! So happy it’s just 1st floor and has breathtaking seaview since I have senior mom with me. The location is actually a little bit far but it’s understandable since it’s a diving spot. I really love that it’s almost a secluded place. The beach is not crowded and it’s beside the 5-star resort, so called Vivere. The service is great, however, the reception is so hard to reach. Their mobile number is not working, I think? Plus the telephone in the room. ‘Cause everytime I dial, it doesn’t push through. Just a suggestion, since the front desk is not 24/7, atleast improve the communication service with the reception using other platform like social media or messaging app to address guests’ concern. Cleanliness, it’s good but I spotted some stains in the linens, particularly with the duvet cover and flat sheet. It was an old stain which I think laundry can no longer remove it. But it didn’t bother me at all, so long it’s not blood. For the amenities, highly recommended! You don’t have to look for anything else because they have it in the hotel. I just hope that the elevator soon will be available (one of the staff told us). Also, kudos to the one who assisted us when we arrived. I wasn’t able to get his name but maybe he’s from HK Dept. I appreciated how he’s happy to help us eventhough we have to go down 200+ steps and go up as well. I think he was also one of the staffs who carried our things when we checked-out. :) For the resto, food was awesome and the staffs are easy to approach :) Overall, I will recommend it and surely will comeback, not just for leisure but for diving (as I’m planning to push Scuba soon). It is considered to be first-rate in PG Island. Whether it is facilities or services, there are many foreigners, many of whom are naked. Nice atmosphere at night. The restaurant tastes just fine, you can eat it, and the consumption is about the same as outside.

Absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly.They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue. I've been coming to Sabang for 15 years. I've stayed at this place more than 5 times during various visits, its now my most favorite place to stay in Sabang and White beach. things have changed since the pandemic, access and travel time, but well worth the effort. once you arrive, I don't even have to check in, I just show up and tell them which rooms I'd prefer, and its done. the rooms are large, 11, 12 and 14, my favs. their clean, good aircon, good wifi, great bathrooms and shower, warm water, TV works, has cable, viewing deck comfortable and glass slider access. food is the best I've had on the island, Mel, the chef, is great and very accommodating, he gave me my own personal access to the early morning bar to make my own brewed coffee, that'll never happen anywhere else folks, and he's a great cook. the staff is very friendly and accommodating, they speak good English, the place stays open until the visitors are finished with their entertainment. the pool is small, yet wonderful, access within walking distance from your get off taxi, but not very wheelchair friendly, not much of the PI is unfortunately, I plan to make this my only option to stay when visiting the island. I recommend calling ahead to check availability and have a back up plan because they fill up during high season. access to the island has changed a bit. Batangas seaport is your beginning and you can only arrive in PeurtoGaler, then can only take a tricycle and/or Tuktuk to get there, takes about 35 minutes, cost about 350 pesos and is better then white beach hands down. has walking distance to bars, clubs, nightlife, yet far enough away to be silent for sleeping, many scuba shops and options, its a scuba mecca, you can YouTube many themes here and you should, I can't recommend this place enough and if your on the fence, pull the trigger, its worth it. good luck and be nice.

Lovely to return to one of my favourite hotels in the Philippines.I love the location of Blue Crystal; away from all the hustle and bustle of Sabang and Puerto Galera. The friendly, helpful staff are still working at the resort and worked hard to make my stay a very pleasant one. I look forward to returning again in the not too distant future.

I am a backpacking person and I love to go places that are cold and somehow up near the clouds though of course being a solo person and wanting to have a peaceful getaway, Canyon Woods is what I found. My stay there was really nice and the food are delish in taste, though of course I always go out and check the travel spots near it still whenever I go back and stay for the night I loved it. Will go back here again

Our fave place that is “home away from home”. There staff are sooooo nice, very accommodating, polite, helpful and always smiling. I really love their customer service from their resort to The Sands restaurant. We’ll def go back here!

We recently visited at the El Hardin de Zaida for an overnight stay with mom and my aunt and I can say it was all pleasant. The place was a gated property at the border of Laiya and San Juan. Check-in procedures were great and we had a special treat of being upgraded to the premium stay which gave us access to the exclusive pool that is adjacent to our hotel room. For the room, it was clean and spotless one but the vanity desk didn't have a mirror in front of it. The bathroom was nice. It had a drying rack, a bidet but the shower needs a bath mat to prevent guests from unnecessary accidents. Food was splendid. Late lunch, an evening at Rudy's and the breakfast. One of our highly considered decisions for choosing El Hardin de Zaida was the Spa. Prior to the trip, we called the place to ask if we needed to book a reservation for the therapy but we were told that we can avail the services on the spot. When we arrived, we were told that there was only one therapist available. We were three. Therefore, it would be impossible for us to avail 2.5 hours worth of wellness services all together. We hope that this can be carefully addressed to prevent the guests from expecting the availability of the spa. Overall, the stay and the food was great.

We as permanent senior citizens from Sta.Rosa ,Laguna come to Matabunkay for almost 30 Years . Well this was the last time in Coral Beach! First: the bill of drinks doublet miraculously .My intervention and complain was noticed , We received a new one without the included refund. They thought they can keep the money, because I overtip mostly with 10% .And also no sorry for error! I claimed for refund and asked for at least an apology. Well this happened later numerous times from other employees! Bye the way we expats are often taken as walking ATM machines here . This about the so calld Filipino hospitality. 2. About 11pm I woke up from loud voices with laughing etc. out from the pool. I told them to shut up because I want to sleep .The probably Chinese guy with bacla friends aprouched me agressivly with intention to beat me up. I'm76 year old , with cancer and quite week. I gave up.....and went back to our room .They continued to swim until about 1am! 3.Barely sleeping we left the resort without breakfast around 6'30 Still confused and angry we forgot Phone fast charger and 3m extension Cable. But do you think we got noticed from the staff there ? They have our calling Nr and address.No ! Find out now if you want to go there ! I don't recommend it anymore . My previous reviews always are 5 Star. Now they get 3 !
