The rooms are spacious and clean. I booked a room with river-view. Nice but not really necessary. It's not an epic view. Haha! The TV lets you sign in into Disney, HBO, Netflix and other common providers. The showers are a thing for themselves. No real pressure! I think it's great for families and those who want to stay a little longer because the room had a really huge fridge.
The hotel itself doesn't provide breakfast, but has a complimentary snack bar where you can get coffee, tea and sweets. It's ok because you can walk less than 10 minutes to find food.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the stereotype of Thais being the most friendly people rings true!
The rooftop bar is nice at night, drinking a cocktail and you can eat seafood. Downstairs you have a normal restaurant and a buffet. The food looked good, and the restaurant seems to be a hotspot. It's been full every day. But since I travel alone.... You get the deal!
When I'm in Thailand again, I gladly book this hotel a second time.

We stayed at Siam 2 for 2 nights. We enjoyed the proximity to Khaosan road but it was still far enough off so it wasn't loud. The hotel has a pool to cool off and a little restaurant where we enjoyed a coffee. There are many restaurants, bars and a ferry dock close by. If you're looking for a reasonable accommodation price wise Siam 2 is a good choice.

10 over 10! 👏 I’m a solo traveler and I will recommend this to anyone around the world. Accommodation is not just about high rise tall building. It’s about the comfy feeling of the place. The rooms are not big but it’s a nice stay. The wood lobby part and the staff is brilliant. The location is perfect. Not noisy but very close to Khaosan Road. The cleanliness and the food serving is reliable. The staffs are supportive. Especially Mr. Palcan the German guy and the Thai Pi Nook. They are very supportive to the visitors. They even helped me print my documents it’s free.. 😇👏🙏🏻💓Grateful here. Then I love the ventilation, my favorite area is the living area where you can relax. You will really fall asleep beacuse it wooden with shiny floor. 😃🥰 This place is execellent. Your little money is worth it the stay. Very recommendable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☄️🇵🇭🇨🇳🇭🇰 🇺🇸 🇲🇾 🇩🇪 🇸🇬 🇷🇺 🇮🇹🇫🇷🇦🇺🇨🇭🇳🇿🇨🇦🌎

Good location as it was 2mins from Khaosan Road and 6mins from bus stops.
Due to being near to Khaosan Road it does get a bit noisy at night (especially Friday/Saturday night) but it doesn’t affect the ability to sleep - our room faced the road.
We did have to close the bathroom door as we could smell a sewage smell coming from the bathroom, it must’ve been somewhere in the pipes because we couldn’t see anything.

The place looked very different from the pictures. The building looked a bit old. But everything was super clean. The staff was amazing. The room was clean and the location was amazing. Close to Khao Sand Road(5min walk).
There was elevator available and we didn’t have time to get in the swimming pool but it looked nice.
If you need hairdryer, it’s available is you ask in the counter.
I had a good experience~ even if the pictures were different.

I was checked in earlier than the check in time with no problems. My stay was great because I wanted to be close to Khaosan Rd. The pool was small, but it was the nicest feature of the hotel because it was located on the rooftop. Ideal for a sunset view because it allows you to rest while enjoying the city view

The Violet Tower at Khaosan Palace is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Violet Tower at Khaosan Palace is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Bangkok. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Yommarat Railway Station located approximately 3km away and Don Mueang International Airport roughly 29km away. Seeing Bangkok's sights from this hotel is easy with Wat Suthat Thep Wararam Ratchaworamahawihan, Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium and Democracy Monument all close by. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
LLidehua2024.12.19
The hotel is located at the heart of the Khao San night market, which means you have no chance to sleep until 3am when noises start to reduce (need to wait until 4am for complete silence). I used an app to measure the peak sound level inside my room at 2am. The result was 91db! You can even feel the vibration caused by the super loudspeakers of the bars around.
Fairly speaking this problem is not unique to this hotel. If you are not a party animal and want to sleep near Khao San, choose a hotel at least 2 blocks away from Khao San Road.

The location is in the heart of khaosan area so you can hear the music till late at night. Although for party people it's a great place to stay as the place is right inbetween the happening area. Rooms were just ok to stay but can be improved, the bathroom was small.
The staff's behaviour was rude, we were also asked to keep 1000 B (for 2 rooms) as deposit which was later refunded.
Overall it's a good and budget friendly stay.

Outstanding
JJkoh1Good location. Directly linked to MBK (via level 2) and National Stadium BTS. There’s a 7-11 at level 1. Modern and clean room. Buffet breakfast spread was good and some food items were changed daily. Go before 9am to avoid queues. Can reach Siam square, Siam paragon in less than 15min walk. However sound proof is quite bad. Can hear the traffic sound at night on level 19
TtheshortmonsterI recently stayed at the Courtyard Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel is centrally located between Asok and Phrom Pong station, very near to Terminal 21 and the new Emsphere shopping centre. And there are a wide selection of good clean massage shops outside the hotel.
The check in process was smooth and efficient. Even though I checked in very late close to midnight, the staff at the reception were very welcoming. The staff was very kind to upgrade me to a room that comes with a bathtub! Appreciate the very kind gesture.
The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and I appreciate the amenities provided. The housekeeping team did an excellent job as will in maintaining the room each day.
The service from the concierge staff was exceptional as well. They were always friendly, professional and eager to assist with my requests.
Overall, I highly recommend Courtyard Bangkok Sukhumvit 20. The combination of excellent service, convenient location and very comfortable room made my stay truly enjoyable.
CChanida KanmuangNice for a short stay for waiting the flight. The location is not far from the airport and convenient to drive to the airport at night without traffic jams.
SSidney JohnGreat hotel when needing a simple, easy hotel for a short stay! My go to when in the city for a quick trip knowing i'll be out most of the time!
GGuest UserGood location, near Samyan mrt station, nice hotel with nice interior and friendly staffs, like the breakfast restaurant ambience relax and cozy, and with good variety of food choices, gym is well equipped
SStephenhotel to try out I’ve stayed in most hotel in the SUKHUMVIT…. Beds and pillows and shower location and all the staff are amazing and very friendly that stay with out let letting you no …. I really enjoy staying there when I can get in …pool area was nice super location food and drinks
AAnonymous UserThe staffs care only about foreigners, a Thai person as myself always got ignored by the staffs. When I drive into the hotel, there was no security guard at all and when I parked my car, no staffs were there to offer me help to or tell me where the lobby is. The signs were confusing. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, they don’t change the bedsheets or bathrobes at all, I came back to still found the dirty bathrobe I left on the floor being picked up and hanged back on the door hook. I wouldn’t trust them for the cleanliness of the room after seeing this. The room is not soundproof at all, you can hear all the sounds outside in the hallway and I can even see the light from the hallway all night so it didn’t offer me even the basic like goodnight of sleep for 3 days because all I can hear is the other rooms’ door closing sound all night for 3 nights. Even worse, the policy is no smoking but I can smell smoking everyday that I stayed here. I told the staffs 3 times but they didn’t take any action at all. Until the last night, I came back early and saw the room next to my room openly smoking in their room. Plus My room lights also all went out when I inserted my keycard, I thought my keycard was faulty so I went down to the lobby to change my keycard and complaint to the staffs about the smoking and the loud sound. They offer apologies and they said they would take action about the smoking. They even have the audacity to ask me why I don’t tell them earlier and do I know which room smoke. I’m a woman staying here alone, even if I heard or smell anything, would I dare to go out of my room to check? Common sense right? At last they resolved the smoking issues because when I went back to my room after I complained, the room next door was shut tight but I came back to my room still unclean (at this point it was 5pm already and I left my room at 8am, plenty of time to clean my room). The lights still wouldn’t turn on, I tried calling them from the room line but the staffs wouldn’t pick up the phone. I had to go out of my room to find the housekeeper and had them call someone to fix this. Half an hour later, the handyman showed up, told me he needed 1-1.5 hours to get this fix and proceeded to ask me if I hade some business to run. I said fine because I had some appointment and I would be back around 8-9 pm. I came back at around 10pm, I asked the lobby staffs if my room got fixed already, they said yes and please go check it myself if the lights came back, if not they would change the room for me. So I got back to my room. I was lying down ready to go to sleep when, tada!, the room’s light and ac went out again. I called them from the room line again, lucky they picked up this time, I told them I would like to get my room changed. They said would send staffs to help me move my stuffs. I cleaned up my things while waiting for staff to show up and show me a new room (during this time, the light came back and went out repeatedly for 2-3 time). I had to wait for them for 10 minutes at 11am. They moved my stuffs to the new room in the same floor but a bit smaller room. I wanted to get my sleep so I didn’t complain about the room being smaller and not what I had paid for. I got to go to sleep at about 12-1 am. In the morning, at around 11am they called me asking me would I be checking out today. I mean they wouldn’t even offer me late checkout for what I had to really because of your faulty electricity and all the problems that had occurred while I was staying here. I wouldn’t stay here again😤.
JJohnny EuroIt's our second time staying in this hotel. The workers are very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The rooms have shampoo, soaps, water, fridge, toiletries, and a big bath. The breakfast is more Asian style with some European style pastries and bread available. It tastes nice tho. Free coffee all day too. Check in and check out can take a little bit of time, so be patient for that as the hotel does have a lot of rooms. Walking distance to big shopping malls and has restaurants, 7-11's, massage shops, cafes and bars nearby.
GGuest UserInspite of the Google reviews not being so positive, we thought the hotel was not bad especially for the price we paid for 4 days. Had all the amenities and the room looked nice too. We didn’t hear any noises from the nearby club at night. Definitely an older hotel but it’s got a charm to it. Room service and hotel staff were always quick to help when needed. We got their breakfast on the last day and it was one of the tastiest pad Thai I’ve had, along with many more breakfast options. Loved we had a washer/dryer in our room and it worked pretty well. Wish they had given us a small sachet of laundry detergent so that we don’t have to buy one only to waste it. Finding a Grab was not too bad to and from Bangkok downtown. Never got to check the pool or the gym because we were too jet lagged but looked good in the pics. We would definitely recommend this
GGuest UserLove Furama Silom! Located in very good spot in Silom. We booked superior room and it was very spacious with Bangkok city view (*pic), bed was good quality and we always had good sleep, breakfast was amazing and they have wide variety (asian, western, salads, coffees, juices, pastries), staff was friendly and speak English well. Their restaurant room service also worth to try, especially ‘Thai green curry’! My favorite is the view from the rooftop pool 🌃 also 711 is just 2 buildings down the road. Def had lovely experience and can’t wait to go back to BKK and stay here again :)
