Dang Derm in the Park Khaosan Reviews

The hotel is good and the room service excellent. The outside location not so great - a very touristy area for younger people. The photos the hotel show as views from the hotel I did not see.

The hotel is located in Bangkok and many things to do there. A lot of restaurants around there.

It was a bit hidden but the location was okay. It was along Khaosan Rd. Everything was walking distance. Food and massage parlors were everywhere. The room for 2 was a bit small bit it was very clean. The bedsheets and pillows were very soft. Overall good.

Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of bars, clubs and restaurants on the street outside but didn’t find the rooms noisy, although ours were at the rear of the hotel. .Very active scene on the street, especially in the evening. Definitely the most active street in the area. Personally, I’d probably choose a hotel on one of the quieter streets next time and visit this street from there. However, I can definitely see the attraction of being right in the middle of the energy that some might like.

Really quick check in process and friendly staff ! Location is so central and could book tours really easily with good prices.

Okay. So this is my third stay in this place. In the same building they have D&D and in the park. The location is still perfect even I didn't go to the bars because I just had no mood all those days I stayed. Why I booked the hotel is the pool! It's amazing. The view. The comfort. I have spent all my mornings, days and evenings there when it was not raining just to chill. And I will come back here after a week also because of that lovely pool. Another plus is the bed - It's huge!!! And super comfy. Now minuses - it looks like there is a balcony on the photo, and I am a smoker so I wanted a balcony, but....it's just a window that faces to the wall and the sound of working a/c was terrible. - shower....you can't turn it left or right, so it's hard to wash what you need to wash and the water hits direct on your head like stones - plugs. There was ONLY one plug. That was very uncomfortable. And one more.....it's not about a hotel, but about the agencys downstairs. A warm warn for another students not to make out mistake. When I will.come back to this hotel I will visit that lady and ask her for that trip she sold. Attention. If you stay in BKK in Khaosan road and decide to take a bus from BKK to Phuket or Samui doooooont buy a ticket from the agencies down the hotels. Never ever. I paid double price from it coasts if to take a bus from the bus station only because I have 3 heavy luggages. And I was promised we would  be take direct from the hotel which was super convenient. So in the end with all my luggages I went by walk all those crowded streets for like 10 minutes. After all of us were waiting for the bus for another 40 minutes.  And the bus.....it was a nightmare.  It was made before my grandma was born. Super old. Uncomfortable. So it was 18:40 when we started our fantastic journey. At 5 a.m we stopped in some area called Surat Thani. Where are we still. We all need to wait till....8:30!!!! Just on the street. This is ridiculous! And a small, old minivan supposed to come. Learn on my bad experience and doooon't buy a tickets from the agencies on Khaosan.

I went there more than once, apparently this was the last time! No one cares, Superion was ordered for the room, someone else's can of beer was found under the bed, paper in the toilet from an open roll, torn linen! Then it gets worse, they smoke **** and cigarettes in the pool, all this happens around the pool, no one says anything, like the norm! Draw your conclusions!

I give the worst rating because despite having requested a room without noise, there are ones. They have not given us a solution other than paying for another room. I haven't slept for two days and today will be the third. The hotel of 10 the horrible room.

As you can see from the location, it is very noisy at night, so you may not be able to sleep comfortably.

The room I got had a peculiar smell, the sheets had cigarette ash, etc. The power went out three times in 2 minutes when I changed to another room, and the door at the back couldn't be opened. Finally, I changed to another room before I could move in normally. It took 2-3 hours to change the room, and I finally finished and moved in in the early morning.
