The hygiene is very good, and the space is quite large, but the bathroom and shower area are a bit small. We booked two rooms, one with wet and dry separation and one without. GGuest UserLoved this trip. Upon arriving at this resort, we were greeted by their friendly staff who later took us on a tour of the resort. They have all sorts of animals, ostriches and camels to name a few, and all of the vegetables and fruits that they plant are used in the resorts cafeteria. Not to mention, they don’t put any sort of pesticide and you could go pick the fruits and vegetables yourself. We also went on the stream hiking activity, and what really moved me was that the staff carried a giant watermelon up the stream so then we would be able to share it at the destination, like hiking without anything is already hard enough, not to mention carrying a giant watermelon. Overall it was the staffs friendly attitudes that left me absolutely in love with this resort.

AAsh & MedsOur stay at the Sheraton Lion Lake Hotel can be summarised in one word, disappointing.
I believe this was/has the potential to be a lovely hotel to visit. The hotel and its grounds are massive, however, most areas are closed and there is a general feeling of abandonment. Fountains and water features are empty, shops closed, grass is overgrown and facilities a little dated and tired. The indoor pool and one of the restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was not very clean.
What it did have was excellent customer service, the Moroccan theme was very cool and the rooms overlooking the lake were clean and had a lovely balcony.
Overall, not worth the money. If you are looking for a base to sight-see Qingyuan, there are much cheaper hotels around and if you are wanting to enjoy a staycation this will be a disappointment.

Llpmm27This is my first time staying at this hotel. I have always stayed at the Garden Hotel next door. The price is quite favorable, but the service is really poor. Before checking in, I had communicated with the platform many times, hoping to get a room with the same size and layout as the pictures shown in the hotel. The hotel agreed, but when I went to the front desk to check in, it said there was no such room type? A room of less than 10 square meters was arranged. After reluctantly checking in, we contacted the Ctrip platform. After the platform communicated on our behalf, the hotel agreed to change rooms for us (a special thank you to Ctrip customer service for solving the problem very quickly and thoughtfully). This thing makes me feel that it is quite a loss. Although there is a room, I am not allowed to check in, and I am tormenting the customers. After checking in, we were given a room close to the elevator. It was very noisy when they were coaxing you in the middle of the night, so I couldn’t sleep well!

GGuest UserQingyuan Yingde Baojing Palace Hot Spring Hotel is highly recommended. This is the best place to experience this time when I returned to China for vacation. A very suitable resort for leisure and vacation. Transportation: Guangzhou High-speed Railway is half an hour away and the hotel pick-up takes 10 minutes to arrive. Accommodation: Choose a first-line lake view and mountain view room with full views. Dining: The chefs in the hotel restaurant are first-class, especially the fish head, which is the most difficult to master the heat, is just right, and the breakfast buffet is rich. Reception: Everyone here, from the driver to the front desk (thanks to Mao Yougu, the front desk butler, for upgrading our room), is very friendly and enthusiastic. Attractions: In addition to the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, it will not be boring to come here to soak in hot springs, because you can visit the billion-year-old cave, take a boat trip on the lake, climb mountains to look far, bungee jump from high altitude and walk on the sky glass bridge, etc. It is even more friendly to families with children. GGuest UserThis homestay completely satisfied my imagination of the homestay in my heart, and even a little beyond my expectations. When I arrived at the store, I was crazy to my friend Amway on the WeChat group.
The distance is very suitable. It is just below Huangteng Gorge. The facilities are complete and meet all my entertainment needs: pottery, calligraphy, drinking, reading, karaoke, taking pictures, punching in, barbecue, eating, chatting, etc... I have never met a homestay so entertaining and rich.
More importantly, the environment is very good. It is indeed aesthetic and stylish. The decoration layout is very design.
In the end, I had to praise the boss's service. It was very close to the people. It was not so much the boss as the old friend. It was very attentive and thoughtful. It was like a friend. It even took the initiative to send us to play in the water nearby. The first time I wrote a serious evaluation, I made so many words.
A very pleasant experience, alleviated the unhappiness of the recent period, will go again next time.

OOopotatooWe went the day before the hotel got flooded, so we managed to enjoy 2 days of swimming around the hotel lanes which was really fun! Unlimited swimming, hot springs and sauna. Although you’re not allowed to use any of these if there’s a thunderstorm so keep an eye out for the weather.
The hotel should’ve warned the guests of flooding, or cancelled the rooms for guests’ safety, which was definitely a mistake on their part. However the staff response after the flooding was fantastic, they all kept calm and friendly despite many angry guests (which was to be expected as many had their cars destroyed). They were in the same situation as we were, trapped in the hotel lobby for days without power, but still tried their best to help the guests out as much as they could.

GGuest UserVery helpful and friendly hosts. Location is almost at the top of the Yao Village, close to the temple and 50m from the street walking up to the temple. With the help of our hosts we found it without problems. You have to park the car at the parking lot of the village and then walk up the hill on the main stoneway. With every step you take uphill, you feel more and more the charm of this village and its people. You feel like in a past century. And as you are walking uphill and turn to see the beautiful scenery, you will wish to stay more time. This is the place to forget about stress at work and the noise of big cities. Here you can relax and fill up your batteries.
We booked a basic room with a small bathroom, what was enough for us for 1 night. But you have to get used to the chinese toilets. The view from the balcony was absolutly beautiful. The hosts have a small restaurant across the street and you can order from your room and enjoy the tasty food on the balcony. If you have enough time, stay at least 1 night. You will not regret. One of our favourite villages in China.
