小學改造的民宿，在小山頭上，視野開闊，清風拂面，外加有藍球場、泳池、院子，可以燒烤唱歌喝茶休閑等，作為民宿無可挑剔。不可想象的這是兩位退休長者的作品，“石牛山下，呇見耕耘；老當益壯，不墜青雲。” 石牛山景也不錯，玻璃懸棧，絕壁飛瀑，十里索道，石牛山巔，石壺古蹟，人也不多，體驗不錯。可惜當天，主峯山霧瀰漫，不辨前後，雖登頂，不見石牛之奇偉，不見山川之秀麗。他日得時，必再上石牛，宿呇見，話石壺。
