We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Jacamar. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and didn't shy away from answering all of our questions about the town! The rooms were comfortable, air conditioned, and stocked with plenty of coffee needed for our early morning adventures around Drake Bay. The hotel is conveniently located-- it's quiet, but near to many little markets, dive shops, and restaurants. You can arrange to have breakfast each morning too at an additional but small cost, and the food was quite good. We would definitely stay at Jacamar again if we come back to Drake Bay!

We had a really nice stay at Jacamar. Very clean room, huge comfy bed, nice leafy balcony to sit and watch the noisy birds. We enjoyed the aggressive aircon after swearing our way around Corcovado and Drake Bay itself. Good location - not beachfront but everything in town is walkable. We also had the breakfast each morning, which was very tasty. Not a beautiful secluded boutique hotel, but a comfortable mid-range option.

We got here by boat from Sierpe and were met at the beach. it is only a couple of 100 meters from the beach, but we were glad we didn’t have to carry our big bags uphill on the slightly rocky road. The hotel self is very nice, clean rooms, large bathroom and very friendly and helpfull staff (guy at frontdesk speaks english very well). We were also happy with the airconditioning, since it was so warm outside. Laundry service was quick and reasonably priced. Restaurants all within walking distance. A lot of noise from the birds across the town, níce views from our balcony. I really liked it here and absolutely recommend it to others.

We were met at the beach when we arrived by ferry from Sierpe. The hotel is spotlessly clean, cool and welcoming. Built on the side of a hill, all rooms appear to overlook a very well kept garden. If this place had a pool it would be paradise! The room and bathroom is very spacious and the aircon is fantastic.

This is a nice hotel, in the centre of town. Walking distance to bars & restaurants and the beach. Drake Bay isn’t so commercial as it’s tricky to get to, either by 4x4 over very bumpy, rocky roads or by boat from Sierpe. The rooms were clean and breakfasts were made promptly by 2 local ladies. Fruit on arrival & fruit juice, followed by a breakfast you’ve chosen the day before. The rooms had aircon, thankfully and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens.

Sehr schönes Hotel in guter Lage. Hotel und Tour Operator. Alles hat perfekt geklappt. Dylan war sehr freundlich, hat uns alles gut erklärt und uns mit dem Auto zu unseren Tour-Starts am Strand gebracht. Guter Kontakt auch per WhatsApp zum Team vom Hotel. Zum Strand ist es etwas zu Fuß bergab, was uns nicht stört. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und sehr sauber. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Man kann jederzeit an der Rezeption Wasser nachfüllen. Der Frühstücks-Bereich ist sehr nett. Umliegend gibt es gute Restaurants und einen Supermarkt.

We boekten via de hotelside een vierdags verblijf met een snorkeltoer een een gegidste wandeling in Corcovada. Ik kan die alleen maar aanbevelen. De boottocht naar Drake Bay, de toeren, het ontbijt. Alles was heel goed geregeld. De man van de receptie, Kevin, zorgde dat alles zeer goed geregeld was. Daar bovenop was deze de kamer heel groot, heel net een heel comfortabel. We hebben ervan genoten vanhet begin tot het einde!
