For the price I have nothing to complain about. It even has an elevator! Spacious room, restaurants and convenient stores are just nearby.

Sri Aman Sarawak was previously known as Simanggang. It was a hot bed for terrorists. When peace finally came, it was renamed as Sri Aman, meaning a peaceful place. However, the hotel was named Seri Simanggang to retain its connection to the past history. The hotel is considered the most modern and luxury in Sri Aman based on local context. It has 10 floors and easily visible being the highest building in the vicinity. It is a 3-4 Star hotel depending on individual’s own experience. The room size is quite spacious and normal room cost below RM 200. The Junior Suite cost only RM270 and very spacious with living room with sifa and dining table. The aircond worked well. The water heater temperature is set at a certain temperature and the water pressure moderate. Mattress is quite OK and pillows feel like spinge but not hard. TV with bad reception. 2 FOC bottles of drinking water. All in all it is good for traveller on business to get a good sleep. It offered room rate with breakfast with reasonable spread. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants around and for Muslims the best restaurant within walking distance is Sri Tunjang on the right side as you exit the main lobby. There is also Pasar Tamu on the left side a 10 minutes walk. All in all it is quite a good a good hotel as it will take you 3 1/2 ti 4 hours ride using peace meal Pan Borneo Highway which is under construction. Considering the local context, it is the best hotel in Sri Aman, if you are fussy or concern over minor things. I would come back to this hotel when in Sri Aman. Stays in this hotel for two days , quite comfortable, thought there will be bathtub but maybe my mistake didn't fully read the description,Foods can be improved more,expect they read my written note that i have written. One thing can makes the guests coming back is good foods.May i suggest Kingwood to make one special dish that can be related to Kingwood names ,and can be order at almost all of it hotels,resorts...But you must keeps the quality tip top...

Stayed here for a quick 3 nights in a very quiet Sibu town. Sibu is now no where near its glory days 20 years ago. Pros: - Location: central in Sibu town and easy access to plenty of good food, to the wharf and other attractions - Staff: friendly, warm and accommodating - Food: probably one of best local food amongst the many hotels in Sarawak - Room: dated but clean & spacious Cons: - Room: very dated and old system for cable TV. Time for an upgrade to attract the younger crowds. Centralize air-conditioning needs refurbishing and update as well. Takes a while to cool down the room. - Hotel - during its hey days - used to have a lounger and bar. Would be nice to this being revived again Overall, a very pleasant stay and my choice of hotel in Sibu

For this recent trip, we’d a pleasant stayed (4x nights) in this lovely, well groomed courtesy staffs, well keep De House Hotel for our Chinese New Year stay. This hotel is near to the ferry point where you can see the cyclists crossing the Rejang river via the ferry. It is a great way to get an excellent view and experience on the ferry while gazing through the beautiful river banks of the river intersection. Apart from that, you can have a morning or evening walk too at the riverside! For the food outlets, there are many choices. It is really convenient and easy access to kopitiam, cafeteria, bakery shop, PapaRich, Sushi King, various bubble tea cafe at a walking distance and even the hotel also have a presentable cafeteria that can caters various people’s choice. For the room functionality, the room comes with electronic devices which you can call for Cleaning up the room and No Disturb services. When we came back to our hotel on the second day afternoon, we noticed that our room has not been tidy up by the housekeeping staff. After verifying, the manager immediately responded to us that we had put up the sign (LED message) of No Disturb and they respect their guest for not making any attempt to cleaning up the room as per request. (Note: It was our fault that we had unintentionally press the message of No Disturb while leaving the room in the morning!) The rooms comes with a hair dryer, a mini fridge and the hot and cold water system is perfectly suit our needs. There is one thing we want to highlight is that the hotel room is bright (three big strong downlighting & two tubes at the back of the bed frame) for reading and doing our work stuffs with a high watts bulbs for many hoteliers offers a more dinner or lower watts bulbs. They even have two different types of lightings offer in the bathroom whereby a very low watts bulb installed acting as a night light💡 which is not glaring but dim and serve well during the night. The toilet seat even comes with an auto wash device! 😀 Surprise!

The hotel looks premium and clean. However, need some update on the lobby decoration. Deluxe King Room. Room condition clean and tidy. Room light ambient subtle but no option for bright light (not ideal for working at night). The bathroom is spacious but hot water temperature level is low. Toiletries is well prepared as well as all the other accessories in the room. Television is the old school type (CRT box tv). Sufficient power plug for charging electrical device. Wifi speed was decent. Room service is just ok. The front office staff was friendly but not helpful. I was not offered a smoking room or non-smoking room during check-in. Unfortunately, I was given a smoking room. My room was stench with cigarettes smokes from other room. When I call room service for enquiry and request for a room change, they did not offer any room nor no apologies. The only answer I get was ”all the room are full”. Overall, the facilities and cleanliness is satisfied. Better hospitality service is much appreciated.

After Kuala Lumpur, I flew directly to Sibu with Air Asia and stayed two nights in Sibu in this hotel. Having prepaid for my stay, for just 43 euros all-in, altogether, for two nights, via a Dutch hotel booking website, back home in Amsterdam before i left for my trip, I was absolutely delighted with my room and actually with my whole stay in the Paramount Hotel. The hotel reception could also get me a Grab car within 5 minutes so i had no complaints whatsoever other than the fact that one or two of the reception staff might probably has/have to brush up his or her spoken English, so as avoid any would-be future misunderstandings with the hotel guests, this being apparently mostly a business travellers hotel (as Sibu apparently has very few tourists!). But the whole reception team was actually mostly very kind and helpful during my stay. Extra bonuses for me were the simply wonderful river view from my room as well as the various new developments right behind this hotel, with quite many trendy and hip restaurants and cafes. For in-house guests, without breakfast being included in the room rate, a good set breakfast (both eastern or western) can be ordered on the same morning, at the cafe next to the reception, for just 18 ringgit all-in per person.

It is newish hotel, everything was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable, excellent wifi. I have to turn up the the air con as it is working too well make the room too cold. This hotel is just in the middle of the town with walking distance to all the major spots. Super friendly staffs and housekeeping. Overall has a really good stay.

A very affordable hotel with a very low budget spent. Will repeat in the future for real. Place is quite near with the tourist attractions' places. Clean and spacious. Recommended for all the traveller who have a tight budget to stay here.
