This hotel is a bit old and needs updating. The shower lacked hot water and the power outlets in the bathroom were inoperable. The headboard was old and tattered on one of the beds. Front desk employee was extremely pleasant and bubbly. Hotels are a bit pricey in Austin but if you want something a bit more current I recommend spending an extra 50-100 dollars. If you are in a pinch, this place is alright.

Participate in the preferred hotel of the annual Southwestern South. From the second floor, you can go directly to the main venue in the south-southwest. The bar on the top floor is also very good! recommend! recommend! The only short board is so expensive, nearly $700 a night!

We arrived a little past 1pm and was able to check in. Hot towels scented with eucalyptus oil were provided. In this heat (94F), cold towels would've been my choice. Christine at the desk offered an ”upgrade” to 2 Queen bed accessible room. We'd booked a king bed, I guess 2 beds is an upgrade? She was very nice and friendly explaining the features and amenities the hotel offers. When you get off the elevator, one side of the hallway leads to Aloft rooms and the other Element rooms. The room décor was as pictured on their website, no surprises. We got room 614, which was the last one in the hallway and the window overlooks the building right next door. Not much of a view. Each day the lobby offers a different fruit-infused water. Breakfast pastries are from Caroline Coffeehouse. Other options are cereal, breads and a yoghurt bar. The only hot option made fresh changes daily. First day we were there were 2 types of pancakes and the second day were 2 types of breakfast tacos. I would've liked to see available fried eggs, sausages or breakfast potatoes. The great location and friendly staff can't be beat.

Came to town for a concert and chose the Hilton for its proximity to Moody Center and lovely photos of the property. From the moment we pulled in and were greeted by the valet staff, to checking in with Chris Hartfield (sp?) at the front desk, we knew we’d picked the right place. Chris was very welcoming and even worked to get us into a larger room which was not available online. He was so kind, gave us information to help us with our evening around town and made us feel at home. Our room was clean and spacious, the decor was nice and beds/bedding was very comfortable. We chose to take a Lyft to the event but took a nice walk thru Austin on the way back to enjoy the city. Highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a 1 night stay in Austin and decided to try the W. It was a great choice, room was nicely decorated and roomy. I appreciated the small details like apples and water in the lobby. My favorite space was the lounge area with the massive vinyl record collection and that fireplace!

Hayden and the rest of the Omni Hotel service was amazing! Made my first time visiting Austin all the better via tips on where to eat and best ways to get to ACL. Also the boys at the coffee shop are awesome & make a killer matcha! I will definitely be staying here for all my future ATX trips and recommending it to everyone I know coming! :)
