We had a wonderful 3D/2N stay at the Roosevelt Service Apartment in Chongqing. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially Yang, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Yang’s hospitality was truly exceptional and set the tone for our stay. The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors were modern yet cozy, and the attention to detail in the design made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring Chongqing, with easy access to key attractions and transportation. Despite its central location, the apartment offered a quiet and peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Overall, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend Roosevelt Service Apartment to anyone visiting Chongqing and extend our gratitude to Yang for making our experience even more special!

We had a great stay at Walling, the location is superb and the room is nice and comfortable and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Particularly staff no. 5, 6, 11. The location is really great, walking distance to Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, Daijiaxiang… and not forgetting the nice noodles for breakfast everyday. Chongqing is known for their 小面, and the noodle restaurant in the hotel serves nice noodles!

Friendly staff, cozy and clean room. Superb location. Shopping mall and restaurant all around the hotel. Free laundry service available. Tho the wall is a little bit thin and the room next to us is very loud.

The room is fantastically spacious with a jacuzzi tub and washing and drying machine. The hotel is also conveniently located with many attractions nearby. The service team at the hotel is also very polite and prompt. My only complaint is that WIFI doesn’t seem to work well in the room. The hotel is surely worthy of a return visit.

Excellent condition with a touch of luxury. We are very impressed and felt fortunate that we could booked this hotel at such a great price. The location is near several malls and the biggest one is raffles city which is located just opposite the hotel. The view from our window is excellent especially the night view. It is so convenient that you could get everything you needed just right outside of the hotel. The receptionist communicates with guest through WeChat and whatever we needed will be sent immediately to our room. The only downside is that we have to change lift at the 30th floor to go to our room at the 32 floor. The lift could get crowded at times. We will definitely come back again to stay if we visit Chong Qing again.

Location is very good and convenient, near many eateries and tourist scenic area like 解放碑，etc.the room is the tradition type which I don't quite like it but they do have other room type. I hope not to get the same room again when I go back. There are many lifts but quite slow and old. The breakfast buffet spread is good and many varieties. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful especially 小刘， I have issue with my parcel and he offered to help me solve without any question. Very thankful to him and I hope Mercure will treasure him. Overall, happy with my stay.

This is a service apartment in a very convenient location. Walking distance to the subway, restaurants, street stalls, shopping centers, etc. Don't expect a fancy lobby as the building wasn't built for tourists. There are 5 service apartment companies sharing the building. The lobby on the ground floor and reception desk on the fifth floor are more like apartment sales desks. We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2 full-bath apartment. Excellent layout with large rooms, walk-in closets and spacious living and dining areas. Downside is that some of the plumbing and electrical fixtures are poorly installed. There is a hole in the shower stall where the shower handle is, and an electric outlet in the kitchen fell off the wall. The apartment is clean, and the view is great. Housekeeping service is good, but you have to be specific about what you want. The manager is exceptionally helpful and courteous. She greeted us every day to see what we needed. Even when we were outside, we could text her to ask about restaurants, getting taxis and other information. She made the stay memorable for us. I would recommend my friends to stay there because of her.

Review There are definitely Pros and Cons. Pros - location location location, very convenient, nearby tourist spots Jiefangbei, Hongyadong and shoppingmalls, great for shopping and cooling down in the hot summers. - Spacious rooms (family room) with eye for detail for the kid. A tent, slippers, kids toothbrush, etc. - Service, staff is very helpful, thinks with you. 前台小孫和客房蔣姐. - Free washing/cleaning service. In the morning you can bring the clothing (max 5 pieces) and in the evening you can pick it up. Cons - The building is old. It hosts about 10 different kinds of hotels. The Move is situated at the 20th floor. - The elevators are old, creaky. There are on a good day 3 elevators. On a bad day just 2 available. Waiting time can go up to 10 minutes. And the elevator will be very crowded. - everything is written in Chinese. You need to read and speak some Chinese. The staff is not use to English speaking tourists. - You will get a fine if you break or loose something. At least, a list of things and the price is shown in the room. For example a cup ¥30, the lights ¥300 or TV ¥3000. A tip: check if things work on the first day/hour. - There are in the night at the entrance floor lots of business cards for call girls. If you staying with kids, it’s actually not okay. - There is no privacy in the room, walking out of the shower, your partner (and kid) can see you naked. - There are lots of groups of light switches, in every corner. There is one master switch. If you use that one everything will be switched off, the lights including the airco. If you still want to have the airco working, you need to switch off all the different lights in every corner. Otherwise you might get sweaty in the middle of the night. - On the first day of our arrival, another guest complained that the photos on the website do not match with the room. I recommend that you look at the room first, in any case the reception is willing to help out (if rooms are available). - On the day of check out, the staff will ask/push you to give a (good) review. Be prepared.

This beautiful hotel is from the future. The view of the bridges, river and city was out of this world. The front desk people provide the most incredible service. I was escorted to my room, given clear instructions, shown how to turn on the screen for watching films and how to use the Bluetooth so I could play music. The bed and bath were amazing as were the snacks. The decor of the whole hotel is beautiful too and it’s in the centre of the city. I want to commend the staff again for their professionalism, warmth, kindness and hospitality - in the kitchen and restaurant too. These people are amazing and are very communicative. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in out of 20 countries.

I stayed at this hotel and found it to be in a great location at Jiefangbei, within walking distance to many attractions. The road outside is convenient for Didi pickups and drop-offs. The room was clean and spacious, though I did miss having a mini fridge. There was ongoing renovation work in the building, so there was some noise, but it didn’t bother me too much since I was out most of the time during the day. The hotel staff informed me about this before check-in and provided earplugs. My only issue was a lingering smoke smell in the room, despite requesting a non-smoking room, so I had to air it out a bit. The hotel also offers a laundry room, which is handy, and free coffee and drinking water in the lobby, which I appreciated. Breakfast was great, especially the delicious noodle station. Overall, a good stay.
