Our stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near Changbai Mountain was delightful. While the room was slightly dated, it was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere amidst the stunning mountain views. The staff (小张和小邹) offered excellent service, and the dining options featured a tasty mix of local and international dishes. One of the highlights was the outdoor hot spring, which was awesome in the freezing winter! With easy access to hiking trails and scenic spots, it’s a perfect blend of luxury and nature. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating getaway!

Because there was a problem with the water in the room we booked, housekeeper Chen upgraded us to a presidential suite, which made our family feel warm in the cold Changbai Mountain. Booked unlimited hot springs. The hotel room is clean. But the bedroom heater is not hot enough in winter. The breakfast is rich. All the Chinese decorations are a bit old. The service is OK. The hot springs are all small pools. The outdoor hot springs were too cold to go. There is also a sweat steam, but the bathing place is a bit poor.

Disadvantages: The hotel is old, and some facilities are relatively old and need to be improved. It is really hot in the elevator! Pros: Convenient for transportation and dining. There is a station right outside, so it is easy to take a taxi. It is close to everything and there are many restaurants nearby. You can walk there in two steps. The family room is very large and has a large balcony, which is enough for children to play. The garden outside the restaurant and the hot spring on the top floor are very good. I would go to the garden every night and look up to see the swimming pool on the top floor. It is also good to go upstairs to soak in the hot spring when you are tired after playing or the children don’t want to go out. 6

The hotel is built on the Erdaobai River. You can see the gurgling water indoors and the hot spring pool on the snowy bank on the other side. The hotel breakfast restaurant spans the Erdaobai River, with great scenery. There are not many breakfast varieties, but the taste is good. Alpacas and peacocks stroll around casually, and there are little ideas like igloos. The snowman army in front of the hotel is very shocking. The outdoor hot spring has a popular iron pot and honeycomb coal. The other several hot springs also have their own characteristics. It is very comfortable to soak in the hot spring at minus ten degrees. However, there is no shelf for clean towels and bathrobes within reach next to the hot spring. It takes great courage to go ashore. The entire hot spring area basically has no service, and only one bath towel is provided. It is a pity to waste such good hardware! Finally, I would like to praise the caring service of the housekeeper Wang Yan, who helped us plan the itinerary and arrange the vehicle. After we finished playing outside, we encountered a large-scale event and couldn’t call a return car. We contacted the housekeeper Wang Yan, and he immediately drove to pick us up back to the hotel.
