Worse than 7 hotels in China. There are ants and cockroaches in the room. I am afraid. I can’t find a hair dryer in the whole hotel to blow my hair. The swimming pool is open from 10 am to 5 am. When I returned to the hotel and wanted to swim, it was closed. The front desk staff spoke only one language Can't communicate, there is no choice for breakfast, I won't stay next time!

My time was spoiled by a crazy party that was held on the top floor last night. The whole building shock with the sound of the base. My ears are still ringing this morning. It carried on until 2am. I complained but no steps were taken to moderate the staff ran party. I finally got to sleep about 3am

Not hygienic, not recommended! Damp and mold spots in the bathroom. No space to unpack your suitcase or hang clothes. No safe, no refrigerator. Towels that were once white are full of dirty, indeterminate stains. Dirty bedding. View from the 3rd floor is disgusting! In the restaurant, dirty chairs with ash stains. Dirty furniture. Food of mediocre quality and too expensive.

The Golden Palace is very well located in Ambon, about 40’ from the airport. (Airport to hotel rate between 100,000 and 150,000 IDR). It offers all the comfort, clean and well-equipped room, high-speed wifi everywhere, breakfast is complete and can be taken on the small terrace which overlooks the street. But the big advantage of this hotel is the pool house on its rooftop with a beautiful large swimming pool, bar and restaurant service which offers a beautiful 360 degree view of the city and its surroundings. The only downside is the prices, both for the rooms and the bar and the restaurant, which are a little high despite the services provided.
