I loved everything about Hotel Heron. The room was cozy, the bathroom was clean, but most importantly, the staff were so nice and accommodating. It was such an unforgettable solo trip experience, and I have everyone at Hotel Heron to thank. I hope to come back again. :)

Staff were excellent, kind, helpful, and always available. The restaurant Kiln is the best food I've had in the DC metro area; highly recommend eating there. The hotel itself is beautiful with a super fun, hidden bar and a gorgeous little work space, plus a great gym with nice treadmills and Pelotons. Plus: the location! Everything I needed and wanted was within a couple blocks walking. Really loved this place and will be back!

Food & beverage service terrible! Rushed our big party through dinner. Bar closed at 9:00 Would not turn tv on in bar to watch football on Sunday. No ice in hotel. Could not get a drink in bar after 8:00 pm any night. Asked for room to be cleaned, clean towels, was not done.

Very very pleased! Such a cozy and intimate space. Will be making Heron my hotel of choice for monthly work trips! Booking again soon for Jan and Feb Hoping to secure room 509 each time ;-) Amy’s service while dining at Kiln was a breath of fresh air! My ex boyfriend and I truly enjoyed her conversation, knowledge and the Mexican 75’s were perfection!!

Baggage was misplaced by front desk staff and they are still working out the kinks with the check-in. Otherwise, a great location with a welcoming bar and lounge area. The room was overall clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was adequate.

We had the most lovely time at Hotel Heron. From the moment we stopped at valet to check in and to our room, it was flawless. Beds were very comfy and the room was quiet and cozy. The soaps supplied in the wash room smelled so good!! At check in they wished my husband a happy birthday at the start, and continued the epic service by sending some bubbles and chocolate to the room to help us celebrate. The Christmas decor was beautiful and the guest services was just outstanding. We were able to stop in at the speakeasy which was super fun! We will definitely be back and recommend to any of our traveling friends and family. Simply wonderful.

Wonderful new hotel in the heart of Old Town. Such a perfect location. Loved the amenities! We enjoyed a drink at the bar before our night out on the waterfront. The coffee was delicious and room service was very fast. We will definitely stay again!

The hotel was amazing! I’ve never seen Christmas decorations like that, either! They were GORGEOUS!!!!! The staff was incredibly nice and were so hospitibal. We loved the historic town, it was so quaint and DEFINITELY matched the holiday vibes. MERRY CHRISTMAS
