One of the most unforgettable experience in my life! The hotel is beautiful situated! Our room is modern and clean! I enjoyed having a stroll in the beautiful garden! It was amazing to have wine tasting and Michelin starred dinner in the hotel. The entire experience was exclusive! I enjoyed staying in this chateau hotel with my husband. It’s one of the highlights in our honeymoon trip.

The wifi is so bad that I doubt my life. In this day and age, there is no wifi that is so bad. The service attitude was extremely poor, especially the ones at the front desk, as if they owed her money. And as a front desk person, my English is so poor. The room is located in a corner of the hotel. Before coming, read the introduction and it is a luxury 5 star. Just the service quality and attitude. There is also a sudden price reduction on the same day, which is half cheaper than booking in advance and directly 50% off. Breakfast is not included and the hotel breakfast is not worth the extra charge. A cup of coffee 12 euros

If you want a peaceful respite from traveling through France, make a stop here to enjoy the stunning grounds, excellent food, comfortable modern rooms and accommodating staff. This hotel within a winery is modern and up to date, while maintaining the charm with buildings from the 17th Century. The ultra modern sculptures that pepper the grounds are “interesting” to say the least but no matter your taste, don’t take away from the sculptured landscape. The pool is modern and sizable while the gym is good for only two. The two five star restaurants offer Japanese and French cuisine and there are daily wine tastings in the ample sized bar off the lobby. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms large. Don’t forget a trip into Aix de Provence for the 365 day open market and endless streets of shops.

The Chateau looks fantastic but we felt very let down after attending a recent "Dinner in the Vines" concert event. "Dinner" is not a tasteless picnic in a paper bag and wine at 40 euros a bottle is a downright rip off after we had paid 90 euros each for our tickets. We may be hopeless romantic but we had hoped for... Dinner in the vines! We are not serial miners but we had hoped for so much more after travelling 3 hours for a picnic

My wife and I recently visited Provence for three nights, and stayed at Chateau de la Gaude because we had read great things about this relatively new hotel, and it seemed to offer a lovely, quintessentially French setting. This boutique hotel did fit what we were looking for in many ways, with its impeccably restored historic buildings that are fully updated and modern on the inside. However, we were disappointed with the service, which was simply not at the level of a true five-star hotel. Pre-Arrival Experience: Prior to our stay, I contacted the hotel by email on several occasions to help plan our stay. I asked for help in booking dinners and planning transfers, including from the airport on our arrival, and then to our next hotel on the Cote d’Azur at the end of our stay. I thought the transfer costs, while not cheap, were actually fair given what other hotels on our trip were charging for the same services. As an example, the airport transfer is 110€ each way, and other hotels were charging almost double that amount for similar distances between hotel and airport. The communication prior to arrival was great. Sarah in particular went out of her way to respond promptly to each of my inquiries, and I felt really confident that everything was well taken care of prior to arrival. I think this gave me a false sense of how service would be once we were there. Arrival Experience: We arrived at Marseille Airport on a morning flight, just before 10:00 am. The driver arranged by the hotel, Eric, was waiting for us with our name on a sign just outside of baggage claim, and he was just incredibly nice and welcoming. He took us out to a van and had us quickly on our way. He was also our driver to our next destination at the end of the trip, and I was so glad that the hotel had booked him on both ends of the trip. He was a great driver and just did a perfect job. The hotel’s website specifies that airport transfers will be in a Tesla Model X, and this was not that, but instead was a standard Mercedes van. We didn’t have a problem with it really, and like I said, we thought the driver was great. However, it could be disappointing to think you’re being picked up in a Tesla and not have that. The drive from Marseille Airport to the hotel was easy – just under 30 minutes at a time of day with minimal traffic. When we pulled into the property, I was a little surprised that none of the staff were around to greet us. Since we were arriving in a transfer booked by the hotel, it would have been easy to coordinate with the driver to be ready to welcome us. When I walked into the small lobby/reception area, the staff just seemed surprised to have an arriving guest. The staff member who checked us in did seem well-meaning though. She was helpful, and apologized profusely for the fact that our room was not yet ready, even though it was well before standard check-in time. She told us they would expedite room cleaning so we could have the room by noon, which w

This 18th-century chateau in Provence opened as a hotel in 2019. It is located not far from Nice, from where I got there in a little more than an hour in my fast car. Everything is great: a large, well-kept area, a magnificent modern room, a luxurious spa and a well-equipped gym. There are several restaurants on site, one of which has a Michelin star. Special thanks to the staff for their attentive attitude towards visitors. Of course, you should come here in the company of a wonderful companion and the weekend will be filled with romance!

We had a one night stay at this hotel. The room was very good and the staff were quite friendly. The Art restaurant met our expectations, however a lot of points spoiled our stay. First, at the Source restaurant, we were accepted for lunch at 1:45 p.m., but the staff was unpleasant, we were made to feel that we were arriving too late, that the service would soon be over. The waiters blow; make noise to tidy up and set up for the evening... The prices displayed at the swimming pool and in the cellar are not the reality. At the time of the addition, the prices increase, we make it known, we are told that it is like that and that the prices have increased. Gentlemen and Ladies, when you present a price to your customers, even if they have increased in the meantime; it is your responsibility to practice them. At breakfast time, we order fruit pancakes, it comes out with 3 pancakes with a cherry cut in half and a segment of orange: FRUIT? Really, or is this taking the customer for a pigeon? We had initially decided not to post comments on TripAdvisor because we had sent an email to management to express our dissatisfaction and that this was intended to improve the customer experience, but when after a month it was not There is still no answer, perhaps the impact here will be more significant.
