Having never stayed at a dorm-style capsule hotel before, I was amazed at how quiet and clean it was. The small capsule/pod had a mattress, a TV, toiletries, and even pajamas! The locker-style bathroom was huge, with about 20-30 vanity stations each with a sink, space for all your toiletries, plus a hairdryer, and all the amenities you would have in a normal hotel room. The shower and toilet stalls were sparky-clean, even though this was a common area shared by all ladies. The men’s dorm was on the second floor, with their own locker/toilet areas, so the ladies’ area was completely private and safe. The treehouse theme was also a unique twist, which was reflected in the decor, and the layout of the capsule rooms. This is a great option for travellers on a low budget. The bed was surprisingly hard and I was worried about sleeping, but I had a good sleep until I woke up the next morning. Booked this place for a night, and was pleasantly surprise with the facilities and the hospitality given to us from the moment we checked in till when we left. I love how even just a stay at this place, really made me feel relaxed and somewhat detox from its onsen bath to the breakfast they provided us. We were also given a choice to select 'pillows' each night we were to stay here; and extra amenities for onsen soak as well. On the night of our stay, we were also offered the 'welcome bar'; where we could mix & choose the selections of the alcohol they had set out (but only for a cup). However, the only downside was that there wasn't much to offer when we went there as i think the previous guests had poured most of the alcohol; so when we reached there were only empty bottles and 2 choices left to pick from. It'll be nice if the staff were able to top them up and allow all guests to have an equal choice of selection next time. Nevertheless, I really look forward to staying here again the next time i visit japan.

Stayed at Toyoko inn different from the day before. The number of breakfasts is richer and more delicious than the place I stayed the day before. I was grateful for the chirashi sushi.
