Hotels near Siraj shopping center, Addis Ababa

Addis is not the easiest city to navigate so your hotel needs to be an oasis. This is not a luxury hotel but a perfectly serviceable hotel you will come to appreciate. The rooms are decent size and beds comfortable. Television shows a coupld of English channels. The breakfast includes a vareity of fresh fruits and vegetables and hot dishes mostly Indian and Middle Eastern. We found a couple of the staff to be particularly helpful. Note that the hotel lists itself as being on Mickey Leland St. but it is set off from there. The Leland name appears to be newish so cab drivers sometimes have trouble finding it--there's a local app for cabs that is helpful. There are many restaurants surrounding this hotel and several ice cream/gelato spots. We happened to stay in three different rooms--higher is better--but the design of the bathroom plumbing connects the shower through an under-fllor pipe with a cleanout valve. In some rooms there is a smell from that arrangement. There also does not appear to be heating and cooling in the rooms-surprisingly that wasn't a problem. Overall, a reasonably priced good choice.

A nice hotel with amenities (hot water supply, bed comfort,Wi-Fi) in good shape. Also you can relax in the pool or enjoy the on-site spa. Room rate is significantly lower than other big name hotel brands in Addis Ababa.

I stayed in Hotel Lobelia for a total of 5 nights during 3 separate times in July. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10min drive from Bole international airport, & a free hotel airport shuttle is provided. This was perfect for me as I had to fly in & out of Addis Ababa a couple of times as I traveled around Ethiopia. Besides being close to the airport, the hotel is also very close to many other establishments, such as restaurants, cafes, shops, mall, etc. There is also an ATM just outside the hotel lobby so this was extra convenient. The 3 different rooms I stayed in during my 3 separate stays were all spacious, satisfactory, & clean. The bed was quite comfortable, & the wifi worked well in the room. There was also a separate seating area. A menu for the restaurant, as well as all the services offered by the hotel are also conveniently provided on the desk in the room. The bathrooms are quite small, however, and can use some upgrades, but overall it was fine, and the hot water shower was great. On one of my stays, I did end up getting upgraded to one of the suites, which was a very big room with a very big bathroom. They serve a buffet breakfast which typically included traditional Ethiopian dishes, and sometimes eggs & pancakes, in addition to toast, fruits, juices, coffee, & tea. Besides breakfast, food is available all day at their restaurant, as well as room service. The food at the restaurant is quite good so I did eat here a couple of times. Laundry service was also good – I dropped it off just before 8:30am & got it back just after lunch. They also have luggage storage, which I used to store my big backpack, while I traveled to other parts of Ethiopia with just a small backpack. The overall service is really good here; plus, all the staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the shuttle service, are really nice, friendly, & accommodating. There was always someone to answer any questions and provide any assistance needed, which I really appreciated. This hotel is definitely good value for a short stay in Addis Ababa with easy access to the airport.

The hotel is a four-star hotel under the domestic Jinjiang Inn. The environment is really good. The service staff is very good. English is also good. There is a free pick-up service at the terminal t2 of the airport. It is highly recommended.

The location is good, opposite a small shopping mall and a 5-minute walk from the Orthodox Church. The service is friendly, the breakfast is rich and you can order cappuccino for free. There are also sports center, art gallery, massage... and other facilities. I am satisfied.

This hotel is great, the service is wonderful the room looks great and it is in a great location. And also if you want to eat lunch and dinner they have an awesome healthy restuarant on the second floor

Close to the airport, it should be the best hotel in Addis! The breakfast is particularly rich, with Western, Ethiopian specialties, and even a Chinese food corner. The hotel is large, like a maze, and the gym is also good, with new and complete equipment. Will stay here next time!

Very excellent hotel, the location is great, very clean from inside and outside. I hope they get a better system of knowing that travellers are coming, and while all booking are done online, plus paid. Asking for confirmation number, is a great way to start. I’m not writing this review to say anything bad about this hotel, but I have been in a very smaller hotel than this, and they automatically know that I have a confirmation, and booking has been done. Meanwhile, the biggest hotel they should know quickly than that. I love the stuff they are very great. I love the breakfast, but with the price of the rooms, I think that breakfast should be included in the rooms. I really appreciate the generosity. I Also, look forward in the future stay there. The best and safest hotel in the area. There is no one. The breakfast is good and the environment is also very good. The facilities of the resort are very good.
