I stayed at Holiday Hotel from 22 to 29 December. The staff were phenomenal. Many amenities to include airport shuttle, free breakfast, room service, laundry service, and a wonderful restaurant and bar. The room was clean and had modern amenities. Bed was very comfortable. I was treated so well for my short time there. If someone wants to support small business while getting all of the perks of a chain hotel, I recommend Holiday Hotel.

Well located in a quiet side street off a busy intersection of multiple roads and within reasonable distance of hte Airport. Staff are very good and helpful. The restaurant is a nice one and well managed. Breakfast spread is fine with good fresh fruits on offer. The hotel offers free drop offs to some nearby points in the city if reserved in advance. The minus points - airconditioning did not work throughout my two week stay. The hotel arranged for a pedestal fan for my room. Though for most of the year AC is not needed, some months it is required. Promised hotel vehicles for pick up from airport did not arrive and the telephone number given in the website was wrong.

Belonging to a budget hotel, the overall is relatively average. There are fewer types of breakfast, western style, you can eat bread and drink black tea. Had an omelette. There are many guests in the accommodation and breakfast is not served in time. The internet is not available during the stay, which is not ideal

Hotel is located in a bit of a quiet area. Staff is really friendly and they clean your room on daily base. WiFi connection is really good!! Restaurant is good and very flexible. They cook the dish you would like to eat! Some things that might be improved: locker and a refrigerator on the room would be nice. Also shower was a bit broken but was nice warm water to use!

We can’t really comment on the accommodation, as the hostel messed up our booking, and we arrived to find no available room. However this didn’t ruin our trip, as Amar immediately brought us to an alternative site, then showed us around the city for the next couple of days. Through the rest of our trip in Ethiopia, Amar checked in on us to make sure we were doing well and didn’t have any problems. Hard to recommend a place we didn’t actually even get to stay in- but in this case, we are enthusiastically recommending.
