Reviews from Real Guests:
JunRei27: The most amazing bridge I've ever seen in the world so far. I'm afraid of heights but when I saw the breath taking views going up the hill, I felt calm and relax. I'm not sure how hard it is to put such a fantastic bridge between the mountain but I salute all the effort and hardwork. Kudos to Malaysian government in putting such a wonderful tourist attraction in Langkawi aside from being a duty free island. A highly recommended place in Langkawi if you want thrill and adventure. See you soon Langkawi this coming april. Book again flight through Airasia.
Safaa Maretha: A tourist spot at the foot of Mount Matchincang (is that right? LOL) with lots of facilities. Many foreign tourists visit here. We can ride one of the highest cable car in the world. The scenery is very beautiful. The natural scenery is good, but there are better ones. Thumbs up for the Malaysian government who is good at maintaining tourist attractions and providing supporting facilities. I like to vacation on the island of Langkawi because of easy access, cheap tickets, cheap eats and friendly people.

The middle station is 600 meters above sea level and has a viewing platform. The summit station is 709 meters above sea level and has two observation decks, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of Langkawi, especially the west coast, from a 360° angle.
Reviews from Real Guests:
Trip.com User: Amazing!! so you buy your tickets and gives you a specific time or batch to get on it, but if you’re solo as I did I went to the queue right after I got my tickets and I went to the first cable car, then you hop off for the middle station then get on another cable car to reach the top, from this platform you have two choices to reach the sky bridge either 6 mins walk and the ticket will be for 6 RM or by another cabin cable (standing) for 16 RM, wind was a bit high on the bridge to the extent that it blow my tripod away and almost lost my phone! all in all it was such a great experience! one last advice you can use grab application for taxi cheaper and convenient to bring you from and to your hotel!
Allison Rich: This is the second time I have done the cable car ..it's a little scary because it's so high but the view is beautiful. The suspension bridge also gives a beautiful view of the Island of Langkawi and other surrounding Islands. It's definitely worth a visit, and if you buy a combo ticket you can enjoy other activities in Oriental Village afterwards

Eagle Square
Opening Hours: Open 24 hours

Recommended Length of Stay: 1-1 Hours
Location: Persiaran Putera Kuah, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah
On the seaside of Langkawi, there is a large square - Eagle Square, on which stands the Eagle Tower (Dataran Lang), which is known as the new landmark of Langkawi. Langkawi means "red-brown eagle" in ancient Malay, and the Eagle Tower is the symbol of Langkawi. The Eagle Pagoda was built in October 1996. The tower is 45 meters high. The reddish-brown eagle stands on the stone pagoda. It spreads its huge wings and shows a rebellious and arrogant attitude. People are shocked. The stern and arrogant posture of the giant eagle symbolizes that Langkawi, like an eagle soaring high, will have a more prosperous economy in the future. Therefore, this square is highly admired and loved by the locals. It only takes 5 or 6 minutes to drive to Eagle Square from Kuah by car. There are tranquil lakes, beautiful fountains and poetic bridges around the square. When you are in it, you feel as if you have entered an indescribable tranquility, which is fascinating. After entering from the entrance of the square, you need to pass a section of the trestle, and then you can see two rows of white mosque-like buildings, which are very eye-catching in the huge square. Then there is the large square covered with colorful floor tiles, which has a strong Southeast Asian style. Going further forward at the end of the square, near the sea is the giant eagle. Many tourists take pictures with the giant eagle here, and you can open your arms as if you are a flying eagle. Or to be funny, you can find a way to borrow a seat and bring one of your shoulders close to the stone tower, as if the giant eagle is standing on your shoulder. Of course, you can also stroll in the square at will, blow the sea breeze, and look at the seascape in the distance. In the evening, not only can you see the sunset in the square, but the giant eagle will also put on lights, which is another scene. There is a long corridor shed in the square, where you can buy local souvenirs, such as a miniature version of the giant eagle model, the price is not expensive, if you like it, you can buy some as a souvenir. In addition, there are two parks next to Giant Eagle Square, LegendaPark and ChogmPark. The two parks are connected. It takes about ten minutes to walk along the square. The parks are full of trees and flowers. If you have enough time, you can also play by the way. one time.

Day 8 | Afternoon
Now we come to another great highlight in the city: Oriental Village.
Oriental Village
Opening Hours: Open all day
Ticket Price: Free
Recommended Length of Stay: 2-3 Hours
Location: Oriental Village, 07000, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah
Located at the foot of GunungMatCincang, the highest mountain in Langkawi Island, Oriental Village is a resort that combines shopping, hotels, spas and various entertainment facilities. Langkawi's famous aerial cable car and sky bridge are here. In addition, it was once the filming location of Chow Yun-fat's "Anna and the King". It is about a 15-minute drive from Langkawi Airport to the Oriental Village. In the center of the park is a garden with an East Asian atmosphere, with shops selling traditional clothing and handicrafts. There is also a lake in the middle of the park. There are several good restaurants around the lake. The taste is delicious and the price is very reasonable. You can try it. The main purpose of tourists coming to Dongfang Village is to take the aerial cable car in the park. It is the longest and one of the most advanced cable cars in the world. It can climb from the flat to the top of the mountain more than 700 meters high. You can buy lift tickets through the official website or the ticket window of the scenic spot. The cable car can't bring bottled water in, and there are many people in line. The cable car has two stations, the first station can not go down, take the cable car all the way to the top of the mountain. The mountain wind is very strong, the cable car is swaying all the way, and the cable car and flyover are not open when it is raining or the weather is bad. The temperature on the mountain is 4-5 degrees lower than the ground. After reaching the top of the mountain, there are two platforms for tourists to overlook the whole island. The high viewing platform is built on the peak of 705 meters above sea level, and you can watch the wild animals and plants growing in the rain forest along the way, and you can see the Qixianjing Waterfall in Langkawi. After reaching the observation deck, you can enjoy the beauty of the whole island of Langkawi and even some islands in Thailand. Those with courage can take a walk across the canyon in the sky, which is commonly known as the Sky Bridge. It is a steel suspension bridge winding between two hills, and it is also the world's largest curved suspension bridge, with a total length of about 200 meters. When the weather is good, the dense woods under your feet are clearly visible, and when the fog is foggy, you feel like you are in a fairyland. However, because the mountain wind is relatively strong, there will still be a feeling of shaking when walking. It is recommended that people who are timid and afraid of heights should not try it lightly. The mid-level sky shop can also send postcards, but the price is quite expensive. In addition to the cable car, there are many recreational facilities in Dongfang Village, such as 3D museum, watching 6D movies, driving mountain buggies and other activities. Those who are interested can try it out. In addition, there is a shopping mall in Oriental Village where you can buy some handicrafts.

Tanjung Rhu Beach is a famous beach in Langkawi, which is more sparse and quieter than other beaches. There are several kilometers of white sand beaches and clear waters. The shores are dense woods. At the low tide, Tanjung Rhu and the nearby islands will be connected as one. The beach will become a soft white sand pile. It is a very unique experience to walk up on the sea on the island. There is also a legendary cave near Tanjung Rhu. The mysterious text portrayed on the stone wall has yet to be deciphered.

Safaa Maretha: Tanjung Rhu is a 1.5 km long beach located on the north coast of Langkawi. Tanjung Rhu Beach is located at Jalan Tanjung Rhu, Tanjung Rhu, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. Operational hours are from 8:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m. The resort is uncrowded, secluded and quiet. This white sand beach is very nice. Food prices around the beach are standard. The panoramic view of the blue sea and nearby islands is breathtaking. Tourists come to Tanjung Rhu for relaxation and extraordinary beauty.
Trip.com User: We did this place on our last day and I regret it very much. Would safely say this is the best beach in Langkawi. Such a pity we went here last as we were had spend most of our time in the rainforest. Felt like our time af Tanjung rhu Beach was not enough and will certainly be coming back again in the near future.

The so-called island hopping tour is also called island hopping tour. It is to go out to sea by boat and play along several small islands in the south of Langkawi. It is a good way to relax and enjoy the breathtaking and beautiful scenery of Langkawi. The island hopping tour basically visits the three small islands in the south of Langkawi, namely Pulau Dayang Bunting (pregnant woman island). Pulau Singa Besar (giant lion island). Pulau Beras Basah (little lion island). Pregnant Woman Island is named because it looks like a pregnant woman lying on the sea from a distance. There are many monkeys on the island. They are not afraid of life. They will grab food from tourists and climb over the hill. There is a clear lake inside. swim. There are many eagles near Giant Lion Island. The people who lead the team will sprinkle food in the sea for the eagles to compete, and tourists can capture those wonderful pictures. Xiaoshi Island is a small island for relaxation and leisure. There are also many water activities here, such as swimming, fishing, etc. There are many small fish swimming in the shallow sea. You can sign up for the tour at the travel agency near ABMotel in Cenang Beach, and then there will be a car that will take people directly to the pier for a boat tour.

MH & SQ: Apart for the usual Langkawi Island hopping packages provided by travel agents, those who are looking for adventure activities in Langkawi should head to less known resorts in Pulau Tuba such as Noba Resort or Tuba Resort. They have kayaking equipments for rent and well trained instructors to ensure your safety. Early arrangements is required.
