Highly recommend that you try to stay inside of the city itself – that is, inside of the old town. that way you can enjoy the beautiful old town even outside of typical tourist hours and it will be much less crowded and much more enjoyable. make sure you go see the show - I think it was called ‘seasons of Zhouzhuang’. it was a lot of fun and did a good job integrating locals into the performance.

Wandering Cucamber: I’ve been to Tinglin Park twice and each experience was different. The park is easily accessible by public bus or taxi. Its well maintained, peaceful and tranquil ambience and one can easily spend all afternoon here. There’s a hiking trail (don’t attempt after the rain) where you’re welcomed by great views of Kunshan at the top. Definitely wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be doing a lot of walking. There are many photo spots and you’ll get lost in time with the lotus ponds, architecture, rock formations and breeze.
