The room is clean, the decoration is retro but of high quality. The breakfast is relatively ordinary. One person has one meal and some of the meals and drinks are available for self-service. However, the opening hours are very late, so it is suitable for late risers. The location is very good.

The room is very spacious and the carpet is clean and not dirty or sticky. Family-friendly hotels can recommend that the toilets have toilet seats for children. 地點很好，交通與停車均十分便利，為於永康交流道附近，不管是上國到與到台南市區都很近。同時價格合宜，餐飲品質與多樣性都很棒，尤其對早餐留下深刻的印象。環境上，除了本身就位於就安靜的地區，夜晚很寧靜外，裝潢用心，環境舒適，服務與人員訓練俱佳，是非常值得入住的酒店。

I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant. First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge. Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned. Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef. I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel

Had a very memorable stay at Lakeshore. Hotel was comfy and decent size. Location is very good. Easily accessible to all the touristy spots. Right opposite the hotel has plenty of beautiful photo spots too. Booked the hotel for our pre-wedding photoshoot and even the local photographer commended on the room and location. Love it. Buffet breakfast was also decent with wide variety of choices.

Breakfast is great! And full of local characteristics! push! The room layout is simple and comfortable, making people feel warm and have a good rest. The mattress, quilt, and pillows are all very comfortable, giving you a good night's sleep. There is a parking lot, and the neighborhood is quite lively. It is very close to Tainan University of Technology.

The surrounding environment is very comfortable, there are walking trails, and there are paid experience activities. The dogs are very cute. The room is large, the bed is hard, the water pressure and temperature in the bathroom are very comfortable, the air conditioner is strong, and there are less than 10 TV channels. There is a water dispenser in the lobby and bottled water in the room. The freshly cooked seafood porridge for breakfast is delicious, as well as toast, fruit, soy milk, and coffee. The lady boss is very enthusiastic and overall it's a good place.

We stayed two nights in Roots Inn Tainan, I think it’s highly recommendable. The rooms are simple, but clean. It’s got a mini fridge for you to store all the delicious goodies that you may buy in Tainan. No bottled water nor coffee/ tea in the room, but all is provided in the 6/F communal living room. It’s a nice setting to enjoy after a long day out, we bought some snacks from the food stalls near by back to the living room because of heavy rain outside. The living room has all the dining ware that you’ll need, and a nice big dining table to spread your feast out. Location is very convenient as the alleys nearby are filled with food stalls at night. Service is excellent, we asked for extra hand towels and hand soap, they provided that to our room while we went out. The receptionist mentioned to us that even after check out, we are welcome to rest in the 6/F living room before we had to leave, which is very nice. On a side note: BMS cafe nearby is excellent for western breakfast and coffee, we went there for both mornings during our stay.

Location is great as the hotel is right next to the shopping mall. The room is nice as well.
