The hotel is very beautiful, it is only a taxi from the train station. There are no slippers in the room. It is not very convenient.

The hotel is ok, old but trying to keep up, it’s at a very good location, many shops and restaurants around. Everything is just walking distance both Towan Beach and Great Western Beach. If you need a public laundry there is also one very close about 4 minutes. In my opinion I think the management should really try to upgrade their facilities because it’s really old, nevertheless it was a great stay.

Because of stuff ups with flights I wasn’t able to get to Cornwall last night so I can’t review the hotel.
I’m sure it’s lovely.

Reviewing for the restaurant, I haven't stayed at the hotel but if it is anything like their food and service, then top drawer. Visited around a dozen times for their very unique Sunday roasts. Massive platter filled with your choice of roast meat and a massive helping of vegetables, roast spuds etc. Way too much for two sharing, really! If you are wanting a desert then good luck, I'm stuffed!
Really close to fistral beach which we loved, really short walk to fistral beach. Comfortable room, helpful staff when we checked in and a lovely bar to relax in. Allowed us to order quick food when serving time was almost finished. Will be returning

Staff made you feel welcome from start. Used the pre paid parking on site, well worth it. The room was lovely and had views front and to the rear to see the sea and beach. The outside terrace beer garden was excellent. The breakfast was good. Full range of continental and cooked items i.e full English or pancakes etc. Good range of beers etc.

Get what you pay for. We paid £70 out of season. Small double. Clerk on desk very helpful. Managed to park no cost in hotel overflow car park. Side bed lights didn't work but had we had a lamp. Faced high street, not to noisy but windows closed. Adequate. Bar in hotel ok, average prices when staff eventually turned up to serve. Have to say amazing views. Was surprised that the area the hotel was in was so tardy! But plenty of bars and food outlets near the hotel.
